Sometimes mid-hockey game arguments get a bit out of hand, but I was outvoted 2-1 on this one tonight. No feelings were hurt as I conceded my points to what I believed was unhealthy, potentially offensive logic but if anyone would care to toss their 2 cents or experience in on the subject feel free. I always prefer to pick up further perspective before re initiating the conversation in the future.

What defines Sexism?

Does the act of explicit discrimination need to be present for something (be it an opinion, argument, preference, policy or otherwise) to be considered or labeled "sexist"?

Does sexism have "dualistic" or multiple definitions when used in different contexts? (say sports, music, art, skill-sets, whatever?)

Ill elaborate on the specifics of the argument if needed. A ladies input or perspective would be most appreciated, as the three of us arguing were all male.
