Oh, I see. I thought the fire one was only a +% to fire damage, didn't realize it was to all damage. The only problem with the build is that some kind of AoE fire attack to spread the debuff would be snazzy. Hmm, if you frost nova, what does the familiar shoot?

Oh, I mean the Lightning passive. Your damage is all lightning-based other than the Sparkflint itself with that build. That build is all about being able to hose everything down with a zillion little continual hits (which are mostly lightning). That pushes your CD's to nothing of course, but also the Lightning one gives an 8% chance to stun for 2 seconds every time you hit someone with a lighting attack. With that build, you're hitting everything constantly with a zillion little lightning attacks so I'd think it would work nicely.

Wouldn't you want the Lightning one, not the fire one? That's an interesting, passive-damage kind of build.

Inno - Yeah, but I'm taking a break from it for a bit. Going to get an SC character (a DH, I think) at least into Hell and ideally into Inferno, then I'll go back to HC. Its pissing me off that I can't comment knowledgeably on the mechanics of the later difficulty stages, plus I want to get a feel for them for HC planning purposes.

Connections was friggin awesome. It was probably the single TV show that most influenced my life and how I thought about things. #2 probably being the Carl Sagan "Cosmos" series.

Dammit, lost my DH at 37. Arcane/Teleporter is an annoying combination, but really I was just tired and slow. Maybe I'm more out of practice than I realized. Sigh. I'll level an SC character for a bit, I think.
