My current talents in the armory aren't exactly how I would spec for raiding if I could guarantee yet another druid to have the full 5 in IMOTW.
I would respec to the following.

All the points in the respec are generally to mitigate input damage and increase output damage, which in turn yields threat. Blizzard has made it so that there doesn't appear to be any cat specific talents, but remaining points in resto aren't really intended for resto. I have a 70 priest as well that I healed with for some time and I'd like to mix up the roles, so I'm much more interested in tanking than healing.
There's only one point in Natural shapeshifter because, I don't expect to shapeshift like I'm being rooted, piercing shouted, frozen, hamstruhzoozled, etc while running the flag back to the red side from the blue and I had that one last point to put something in and I like the idea of shapeshifting to gen rage if Enrage is down.
My current spec is what I leveled with and I've just been too lazy to re-tweak it.

Yes, with mic, but more often than not, I'd rather type away my ridiculously bad sense of humor than to say it on TS.
Typical Weekly Playtime:
On non-raiding nights, it will be around 10-11pm server time and on till I'm sleepy. It may just be bad luck or timing, but at the moment I'm in NY on a business trip. Next weekend I'll be in California for Blizzcon and currently I'm working on a project that requires some extensive overtime. This wasn't the case for the previous 5 months and on-going this won't generally be the case.
Because of the nature of my work, I will only be able to make 2 of the raids during the week but can guarantee pretty much any wipefest on Sundays. I will make sure to pre-park my toon in front of the instance 100% repaired, with reagents and consumables, but will likely log on 5-10 minutes prior to the run. On days that I am on watch at work and come home a bit later, if you miraculously have room, I'll be happy to join for more wipes.

Previous Guilds:
I'm currently in Mostly Harmless and I was given an open invite. I've placed an application out of courtesy after I was infact invited into the guild as they're a very friendly and cool group of people. I joined about two weeks ago as my schedule got hectic the past week, so they haven't seen too much of me and me them. Regardless, I'm not aware of making any enemies with anyone in there.
Previous Raiding Experience:
My old alliance guild used to do full clears of Molten Core/Zul'Gurub/Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj in one night in less than 3 hours, Blackwing Lair in less than 4. We got to Princess Huhuran in The Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, but eventually stopped raiding about that point. We attempted Naxxramas for a bit but just cleared some trash and hadn't spent enough time to down a boss.
Why are you applying to us?
I miss the raiding, I don't miss the organizing. I got burnt out of making the raids happen and I just want to enjoy contributing to the team, improving my toon and accomplishing end game content. Your guild specifically because it reminds me of the guild I was once in. It wasn't a mandatory 5 days a week, till you drop and gotta farm a zillion consumables type guild. It's a "Get a group of smart/skilled/passionate people that respects real life" type guild.
Anything else?
Unfortunately I am a Black Morass run away from being Karazhan keyed. When I get back from this trip, I doubt it'll be long before I make that happen.
When I dinged 70 I had my entire clefthoof set ready with gems and had been enjoying tanking many runs till now. I will definitely continue to run all the respective instances to get the appropriate enchants and heroic keys and I'll enjoy doing heroics to up my gear. Before the last time I logged off my toon had 13k hp and 19k armor self buffed.
I've also collected two pieces of the pvp non-set epics, the belt and the bracers. I'm still looking at various potential upgrades which should put me over 20k armor soon.
I may not be geared as well as you need even for trash this moment, but I will make sure to do what I can on my own so that your healers don't moan when their healing assignment is on the bear whom /licks everyone... constantly... and seriously... I /lick people a lot.
As a final note if any of you need any of the 70 instances for rep or gear on your toons or alts, or for heroics, just whisper when you see me on and I'd be more than happy to run.

So you will have 75% attendance regularly?

Yes and if you do end up doing a rotation and want to switch days for certain weeks, if you let me know in advance I can accommodate a compromise with my occasional late night shifts at work.

I know based on what I've read from wowwiki. 415 def with 3 points in SoTF is supposed to be uncrittable for droods, and some ridiculously higher number for pallies and warriors. I haven't personally done the math to validate, since the article is such a pretty write up I took its word and I'm at 430+ def with SoTF. I'm still collecting more def gear, since I've noticed that the tiered epics don't have defense at all. However I have no problem buying those pretty enduring talasites to socket up gear.
Additionally I've always considered additional mitigation is better than additional hp. I know that some people disagree with that, but when it comes to socketing gear, I'd rather have a higher chance of mitigating damage than to have someone heal the extra hp and generate threat. It's just what worked for me in my past and I like it.

ive grouped with him a couple times with either masta or stigma....he was good enough for me to put on my friends list...and i very very rarely put a random on my friends list

My flight from NY was delayed 7 hours so I didn't get home till 2 AM. La Guardia Airport is insane and apparently planes hardly leave there on time.
I should be on most of tomorrow. I've added Daksuo to the friends list, but wasn't aware of whom else to chat with in regards to the app. Anyone in particular that I should chat with?

Dornak is the man to talk to, as I'm trying to hand off recruiting responsibilities, however I most certainly won't refuse you if I'm on. He and I both have alts, so your best bet is just /who g-"here" and looking for the suspeciously named characters. Mine are obvious (permutations on my name), his are permutations on creepy eating implements.

spoke with murknip and I believe we're tenatively planning a trial run tomorrow/Monday. If not, either tuesday or wednesday I can be online for that trial. If not, That Thursday I'll be off to Blizzcon and return Sunday evening.
The following week after I should be on as indicated.
