For those of you that are farming for a mount, for whatever reason, there are 2 spots that are really good that people have started using. Before you go "Blah blah HoL" these places have proven to be much faster.

The first is Throne of Tides on normal killing the Unstable Corruptions. You have to kill the first boss, which I was able to do as shadow though I did have to heal a few times during the fight because she can hit pretty hard. You can skip the 2nd boss and all the trash prior to the first is not that hard. Once you get to the Corruptions, they have a ridiculously fast respawn rate with a bunch of them respawning at once. Considering they only have 3.1k health they die much faster then the adds in HoL, and can be AoE'd with weak spells like Holy Nova. They have some DoT they apply when they die, so much like HoL you will slowly lose durability as you're killing them. Not sure the Charms/hour rate yet, but considering they spawn faster then the Slags in HoL and die faster its probably over 100 every 10 mins.

The second spot is a bit trickier in the sense that you need some type of quick AoE like Thunderclap or Holy Nova. It's in Deepholm at the Crimson Expanse killing the Fungal Behemoths. The way you farm these, is you pull as much as possible at a time and let them cast Shroom Stomp. This will spawn 2 mushrooms each Behemoth that have ~500 health but are only up for ~2 seconds. Each mushroom gives a chance to give a charm, and people have farmed enough for a mount (2700 charms) in about 4-5 hours. The only way this place really works though is if you have no competition.

Man I wish they had never hotfixed ulduar. That shit made a few people a good bit of gold when you could solo the huge waves of trash packs before the first boss. Also pro-tip if you are going to be doing a lot of mob grinding; take a couple of potions of treasure finding with you.

The mobs you kill in ToT don't have a loot table that you grind, and you don't really kill enough behemoths to make a potion really useful as you're generally killing their mushrooms.
