If you like fast paced FPS Tribes is getting a facelift with a Free to Play model. Currently it's in closed beta, but you can get a beta key by either asking me or liking them on Facebook which is how I got mine. I played about an hour of it and it's pretty fun, not sure I'm gonna pay the 30 bucks for VIP yet considering I haven't really put in enough time to come to a concrete conclusion about it. So ya if you're gonna play it add me to your friends list as Hesher.
www.tribesascend.com is the website to download the game and get beta access.

It's like Quake or Unreal but with class' instead of picking up random guns. There are vehicles and such that you can get during the match after getting enough points to buy it from either getting kills or doing objective based stuff such as holding the flag in TDM. One of the main things in the game that makes it so fast paced is skiing which you hold spacebar and glide across everything which you can hit upwards of like 250 MPH while trying to shoot people though on avg you only go like 100-150.
If you want actual story behind the two factions in the game, IDK it cause I never bothered with the other tribes games cause I played CS lol. Overall the games a lot more skill based then COD or BF and it takes some time getting use to.

^Good overview of the game with links to videos to watch.^
Edit: The original Tribes was like 3 years before Xbox was even made, so it's another Tribes game not another Halo
