Really, the dps made it happen. They yanked the opportunity to fail out of our hands by killing two of the 4 big tentacles before they got a chance to impale a second time. On the third platform, it died so quickly that I was able to help dps the bolt (despite being the second tank on that tentacle) which hasn't happened before. Also, all the stuff in phase 2 died really quickly so there were fewer Tetnus stacks and Shrapnel debuffs to worry about as well.

Probably the biggest plus of having a shaman along (other than AJ generally being a good player) was the Spirit Link totem on the bolt on the 4th platform helping prevent anyone from being burst down. On the other hand, things seemed pretty well in hand (possibly since we had Rallying Cry, DG, Barrier and the Totem ALL running when the bolt hit and right after) so I think the odds of anyone getting burst down was low. Still, if a belt is good, and belt and suspenders is better, why not go with belt and suspenders and masking tape and staples if its all available?

Everyone seemed to be doing pretty exceptional last night. I think we were just tired of wiping to stupid madness. Also I'm taking all the credit for the kill since I said we would one shot him before the pull.

Yeah. Too much eggnog, not enough reindeer sex to burn off the calories.

We're starting with FL for Decock's staff, but that should only take 90 minutes or so. Could do an alt DS run after if there's interest; can get in the people who sat last night too. Hurry up and level that lock noob.

God you're fucking awful. So what now, the hunter? That's already 85 at least. And even if you suck you can just blame the class like I do.

I really need to stop leveling alts. I now have a DK, Druid, Warrior, and Rogue at 85 in quest blues/greens.
