Well I thought I really didn't have much in front of me in terms of games I wanted to play but it seems like November is proving me wrong. Picked up MW3 on Tuesday and have been playing the single player campaign. Impulse bought Skyrim last night since everyone is having a nerd boner for it. Been playing more league of legends with friends. Arkam City comes out on the 22nd and the new Zelda game on the 20th. Shortly after 4.3 will drop. TOO MUCH TO PLAY!!!

I thought Arkham City was already out? And why would you ever choose a CoD game over a game made by Bethesda... Especially when all the reviewers are already saying Skyrim is pretty much the best thing made in years.

I'm waiting for Arkham City on PC. As far as choosing between CoD and Skyrim; I really didn't choose one over the other since I bought both. I've been plowing though the CoD single player campaign and was thinking I might want to finish it before I get sucked into Skyrim.

I have today off so I've just been playing Skyrim all day. Would've started binging last night but I went to see Louis C.K. Haven't even bothered with the first quest for the main storyline, just running around exploring and killing shit. Bought CoD too, but haven't opened it yet. Or Uncharted for that matter. Dark Souls is probably getting thrown on the back-burner.

Same. And Assassin's creed might be my personal favorite and that's coming out next week.

I've been playing for about an hour now. Trying to get to this winter run college is proving impossible. Pretty fun game to just go at your own pace and explore/talk to everything and everyone.

I think I'm ready for tonight. Dropped by total wine after work and picked up a variety of brews.

I was also in for a real treat! Sweetwater brewery has it's dank tank out. Every once in a while they will make a brew and release it one time only. It's always something experimental and this one has a pretty awesome back story.

Plus better graphics, <2 second load times, console commands in case some stupid NPC bugs out or a quest won't trigger.

Broke down and picked it up.

Its... potentially divorce-causing good.

The Wrathettes can learn to feed themselves and take the bus, bleary-eyed daddy has to go suckle on some dragons.

Well while I was waiting for my computer to be shipped back to me I ended up putting almost , well lets see 250h of game time in skyrim. I have made a god using 100 black smith and 100 enchanting, then using enchanted gear to improve smithing and a potion of 50% increased smithing. Now my deadric armor is putting out 1400 armor rating including spellbreaker shield. Also while all improved I upgraded my swords to put out 167 damage per hand, along with one hand perks can put out 333 damage in about a second and with a power attack can two shot an albino dragon ( supposedly hardest one to fight ). Almost lvl 62 and still now am getting all skills to 100, so far hardest ones to work on is destruction, pick pocket and alchemy. If anyone has a question or just wants to talk skyrim pst me or reply to tell, could talk about that shit all day.

well morrowinds ending kinda left you going.. well what now, and oblivian ending at least named you something ( Champion of Cyrodiil ). In all honestesty Skyrim feels a lot like how Morrowind felt as far as mood and tone goes. And also ending wise as well, but at least it leaves you feeling like an O.P. boss after its all said and done. >.< Also Stormcall shout lvl 3 is ridiculous. Has 600 second cooldown but its up for like 2 min. And NO will live after its over, unless they hid and cowered in a corner.

Stealth is too strong a playstyle and magic (esp direct damage) is too weak, imo.

Nice job getting to level 62. I've read that 70 is the theoretical max, though I expect to get tired of it well before then.

I dunno, the world didn't seem any different, no one really treats you any differently, etc. Trying to avoid spoilers, but I think the main quest line was one of the weakest parts of the game. Dark Brotherhood / Thieves Guild felt much more fleshed out. Kind of feels like they ran out of time toward the end and slapped some quests together. Not that it's a huge deal, just enough to keep it at "favorite game of 2011" instead of "one of all-time favorites."

Yeah, moved on to Assassin's Creed. More fun than grinding out my last skill points. I explored all the cities and hit most of the big side quests I think. Never did find my last stone of barenziah though, fuck that thing.

I agree, main story felt rushed. Also, feels like I talk to any random person, even a bum on the street, and he/she will ask me for a favor... Like honestly people, go get or put the shit away your selfs. Last I checked I think I had like 200 or more of those errand quests. Personally, I never get board of helping the Stormcloaks, some of those city/fort fights were just plan fun. Now I'm just going along the map clearing every thing I can, its nice how it tells you what ones you've cleared. Saves going in and having to check your map to see if you been there or not :P

All in all I can see myself going back to it again with new idea or game plans to make it interesting. Also playing it on master difficulty makes the dragons just go flat out chaotic and crazy, good times.

You know there's a list of locations for them, right?

http://elderscrolls....es_of_Barenziah

I've tried to use the wiki as little as possible. Just twice so far. Once to see how the hell to get through a gate in a dungeon (turns out I'd gone in the wrong way and it was unopenable from that side) and to see exactly how the gear improvement mechanics worked.

Doesn't tell me which one I'm missing, and I don't feel like checking all 24 places.
