Open wow on Friday night and got a background download about a gig containing patch 4.3.0.1496.. Anyhow that must mean PTR testing is going well and are probably ready to make an announcement on a patch date soon. I haven't been keeping up with updates to know if they have made any rough estimates on a release date or not, but I assume its closer then two months.

Most of the PTR patching now is non-specific shit like making holiday pets BoE instead of BoP. I think most of the raid tweaking has been finished, though I haven't been in the new raid yet because it takes like 2 hours to find a group with the LFR system. I know the 5 mans a pretty much finished, did those again last night and they changed the order and such for them. All the new items are out for the vendors, and I can tell you now people are going to be hording their valor for quite some time with all the useful shit you can buy now.

Bah, i used to know this off the top of my head, but ivw forgotten now. Blizz is moderately consistent about when background dls start before a major patch, i wanna say 3~4 weeks. Ill go look it up when i get a chance.

Aka the models/textures/maps are done and they are pushing them to the clients. I'm guessing there is still some more raid tweaking/testing to do. I think they started doing HM testing just this past week. I'm expecting early/mid December. Just in time for the holidays (doh).

Hmm. Season 10 conclusion just got pushed back to 11/29 and they're doing an MMR reset when that happens. Not sure what exactly this will mean for 4.3.
