Yes and yes, my voice is not annoying when i do manage to say something.

Yes, Because kaai got hacked i never take mine off

Currently unemployed so my time is open starting in late sept i will be starting classes

EST, live in the sunshine state

Previous Guilds:
can't remember guilds I was in prior to drenden server.
<Kitten Soup> - left, personal reasons.
<Is Malicious> - The guild leader disbanded guild after some drama happened.
<Nephilim> - Few core raiders quit WoW for one reason or another, and raid fell apart
<Requiem> - Left to go play with a friend on illidan

Previous Raiding Experience:
From Launch I have completed All Vanilla raids and BC, for Wrath I did not do Ulduar, have done all of ToC and ICC, for fire lands have done 5/6 heroic BWD, BoT 4/5 heroic, 7/7 Firelands non heroic

I am currently a 28 year old air force veteran. I served and fixed the f-15, while stationed in Okinawa. I am currently unemployed but looking for employment. Within the next few Months I plan to go back to school for Video Game Design. I had my daughter here for the summer and quit playing for a while since i only see her for a short time.

Late September's not that far away, what's your schedule going to be like when you go back to school?

Spec: Going to need more information than that. Particularly why you took Imp CS and Invocation but not Imp Mana Gem and Burning Soul.

Gear: Missing Engi tinkers, mining? Bracers aren't enchanted. Only 15 stats on chest. Not really worried about the ilvl, that's about where I was when I started FL.

Experience: Judging by the number of kills on your shaman, doesn't look like you've raided consistently. 1 kill on Rag, Al'akir, Cho'gall, Heroic Cho'gall, Nef, Heroic LK, 2 LK kills. So you either quit right after killing the end bosses or got carried.

UI: Post a screenshot of your mage, not your shaman. But it looks like you're a clicker anyway. Work on your keybindings.

The ZG last night wasn't a particularly great first impression with you having to go afk multiple times. Kaai has mentioned that your parents don't pull you away during raids, but nevertheless it's going to be a nagging concern until we get to know you. When you were there for boss fights, DPS wasn't great and it wasn't bad. Could be pumping out an extra 1.5-2k for your gear with luck of the draw.

Another concern is the whole couple thing. We've had bad experiences in the past with couples and I'm not looking to repeat it. Everyone has to earn a raid spot and I'm not going to bring one person just because they're the spouse of a raider. As far as the raid is concerned you'd be individuals. If the encounter calls for one of you to sit, then one of you are going to sit. If one of you aren't playing well and gets criticized (within reason), I wouldn't want the other to overreact. Also, if it doesn't work out with you for one reason or another, then we have to worry about losing Kaai as well.

So first we have to get a better feel for your ability, then we'll hash out some of the personal stuff.

Imp CS, Invocation, Imp AE, 1 point into Imp mana gem? Wondering about the thought process behind these choices. As Sobie mentioned the app seems a like there was a little bit of a lack of effort and an expectation that Kaii being in the guild would guarantee you a spot. Raid experience seems good, but I'm on the fence.

... Was an alt wasnt worried about high cost enchants am working with kaai to get them up to par ASAP. I transferred all my mats / gold to illidan prior to doing any thing with my mage. I am aware mining has no major benefits as a mage but i picked it up to level eng and dont have any other major alts to pick up mining.

... i had to quit after my last rag kill because my daughter was down for the summer. requim didnt focus on To4W while i was in the guild but i did raid with them on a constant basis and wasnt carried. I am still raiding with my shaman when i can the guild i am currently in on that one raids early in the day and does not conflict with your current raid times

Was a really short (and admittedly easy) fight so it's hard to glean that much information, but you could definitely be doing more DPS for your gear. Simulationcraft has you at 24.5k DPS on a standard 5-minute fight, and on a short 2:30 minute fight (Occu'thar lasted 2:46) it has you at 27.6k. You actually sim higher than my potential DPS - 27.5k - for the short fight and I'm at ilvl 371, gg arcane mage.

Of course I don't expect everyone to hit their sim values (Decocks sims out to 32k, Kbore sims out to 39k, neither were close) but something closer to our other casters after adjusting for gear would've been good to see. And it's not a perfect tank-and-spank and you were probably missing a buff or two, but the aoe should have made up for it a bit.

• DPS time - Again, short fight, but spending 10 seconds out of a 165 second fight not doing anything is going to add up. You were lower than any of our raiders.
• Spell Breakdown - Not mashing AB enough. You could easily squeeze in another 10 for that fight, which probably would have increased your DPS by a couple k just by itself. Seems like you went into conservation phase too early, though it's hard to pinpoint exactly when you should've since I can't see your mana levels in WoL; I'd review the DPS/mana cycles on EJ. Didn't use blink to move or Abarr while moving, wasting too much time not DPSing.
• CDs - Used Arcane Power twice, Mirror once, which is good. Didn't use PoM at all, only cast Flame Orb once, only used one mana gem (Even if you don't need the mana pop it for the +2k spell power. Though if you don't need the mana you're not managing it properly.), which is bad.

Overall going to need to see some more improvement. If you're getting back into things after the break / learning mage mechanics that's fine, just need to demonstrate what you're doing to improve with logs that back it up.
