Tell us about your spec. Why did you pick what you did? Is your spec cookie cutter? Do you know some secret we don't? Show us you have an understanding of your talents and you didn't just close your eyes and click all over your screen hoping for the best.
I am currently 7/31/3. I took 1 point out of termination to put into spirit bond to add some survivability to the build, I also picked up concussive barrage to pretty much cater to the Beth encounter and any encounter will adds that can be slowed. The rest is pretty basic from EJ.

BE TO THE POINT. We want to know which raid nights you'll make. Not your life story (Unless you're an EMT on call Wednesdays, then mention that). We're a hobby. Not a lifestyle.
Right now I can make any night because I don't have school, but come September my schedule changes when my school schedule picks up. I don't know what that will be atm.

I used to be in Heresiarch back in BC. I was there for the first Illidan kill along with council on Tsuriki. Recently I came back from ally where I was in Defiance and killed Lich king but didn't get to attempt heroics. I am currently sitting in Sigil which is dying out with people leaving the game.

Previous Raiding Experience:
Haven't done throne, I have killed the first 2 in FL.

Why are you applying to us:
Looking to play with old friends again and also progress through content. I believe myself to be a competent player and think I can contribute well the to guild.

Hey. Sorry for the slow response. I just got back into town this afternoon, and then spent like 3 hours at this stupid banquet, so I've barely been able to look over your logs, gearing, etc. I'll post something with a little more thought behind it tomorrow.

I've got some quibbles about your spec and gearing, in that you're little under the hit cap while being a fair bit over the haste soft-cap once counting talents. I suspect Sobie would say that most of those +agil/+haste gems would be better off as straight agil and screw the socket bonuses, and... oh, hey, you changed your glyphs since last night.

But Sobie also says you're basically competent which is high praise from him, and that log where you solo'ed the Spiderlings on Beth was solid. Lets talk when you're in-game.

• Post your UI, it's part of the application.
• Gemming, reforging, glyphing is wrong. I was able to get you 6 points above hitcap with a 700 DPS increase.
• No raptor strike glyph.
• Not much of a pet collection, doesn't seem like you've put much thought into the buffs you bring to the raid. Since you don't even have to level pets any more there's no excuse for not having the ones that provide major buffs/debuffs, especially since a single buff can swing MM dps by 1-2k nowadays (and probably a lot more for the raid depending on the comp).
• ISS uptime is crap, even for Beth. Especially bad for Rhyolith.
• CD usage also crap, both offensive and defensive
• Taking too much magma flow damage on Rhyolith.
• Auto-shots too high of a proportion compared to other spells (highest source of damage on Rhyolith sparks, also too high overall), need to mash more.

So a number of flaws in your game, need to work on those. But like I told Wrath you should be competitive with our DPS, and your gear's in good shape. My concern is you flaking out, don't really get the impression that you're committed to raiding. Going over the number of boss kills on your hunter and priest since Wotlk says it all I'd say. Since Gunther and I are iffy on attendance until September-ish taking you temporarily isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'd be surprised if you were still around 3 months from now.

I grabbed a new piece of gear recently, not sure how many days ago, but just completely forgot to reforge my items. As far as it being all wrong, I was showing higher dps in RawR with the gems I have, I could have messed up while running it through their.

Not going to lie, I never much put much thought into the pets, grabbed a wolf and a cat for those 2 buffs. I'm a little confused by Raptor Strike glyph to be honest, but I can see where it would come into use.

The Rhyolith fight was a mess overall, I was too busy yelling in vent at our melee trying to get them to turn Rhyolith the right directions, I ended up paying less attention to what I was doing and more to what everyone else was doing.

As far as being flaking out, I don't plan on it. This expansion I've had a rough start. I started out ally trying to get my own guild together, running with my paladin Kalsiddon and on my priest Tsuriki to get that guild going. Then we got an offer with Sigil to try and make a productive raid team together so we came horde. Little did we know that once we came horde half of the guild would take a break. My hunter is relatively new as far as raid wise, this is first expansion with him being max level and my main. I did my fair share of raiding on Kalsiddon during wrath for Nax. In the midst of all the I was transferring colleges and had a rough patch.

Not trying to make excuses for everything I know my play is a little flawed atm, but it keeps me motivated and like to learn from those mistakes, so all criticism is welcome , as you know Sobe I can sure as hell take that lol. I do appreciate you calling me competent. I take pride in my raiding abilities, and want to improve, so seriously let me have it if I mess up and let me what I can do with gemming/reforging.
