Interesting. I might move some points around and try it out. His spell breakdown is odd to me. On baleroc his damage breakdown was 90% arcane blast 4.5% arcane missiles; mine was 79/16. Apparently I need to l2arcane.

That having been said, sometimes they actually don't. It was a riot back in BC when Kungen from Ensidia (pre-Ensidia) had to go around asking people to find out what the block cap was w/o Shield Block.

Sure, I generally check out what Hyped is doing out of curiosity but Exodus is hiding their logs. So are most top guilds actually, Method is one of the few that aren't (they're still not showing Rag attempts, just their "farm" night). Not sure where Zuggie ranks in the grand scheme of things (obviously he doesn't suck), there's a chance other mages are out there pulling higher numbers but aren't public. Zuggie "only" has 2 top-25 parses for mages, Hyped has 22.

From what I remember Hyped wasn't a crazy math-head (like create-your-own-spreadsheet crazy, actually surprisingly few people in Exodus were), but he knew his stuff. He takes Incanter's Absorption too .

Its nice to absorb some damage, it has saved my life b4 and another internal buff from just having the shield up and it absorbing damage is nice. U gotta remember too, In my defense I have only been playing a arcane mage for like 1 1/2 month. After playing nothing but frost & fire for 3 1/2 years. And like I said I havent raided since ICC, I've just been leveling, gearing and 5manning.

The issue isn't that you don't know math, the issue is that you don't know mage mechanics. You also don't need calculus to set up keybindings or a timer for trinket ICDs.

Hideous right? I hit 85 on 2/12, never even changed out of my leveling spec. Ran one dungeon (Grim Batol) on 2/27. Haven't played it since. Why should I be the one correcting you on problems with your character when you're the one that wants to raid on a mage? Should be the other way around. If I was a mage apping to Heresiarch I'd go through our WoL and point out all the crap Decocks screws up on and how I'd do better than him.
