Unless you're talking about the one from last year, which is earlier in this thread.

Ah yea that's the one I was talking about. I'll have to watch this one tonight.

It's back! This season it's Rangers v. Flyers, plenty of history there:

The episode is broken out into 6 parts (youtube limit) but you can see them on the guy's channel if you don't have HBO or feel like finding a place to download it. The Flyers goalie is pretty much made for TV.

Also for hockey fans, the NY Times did a really great article on Derek Boogaard who was the premier "enforcer" in the NHL for a few years. He died of an accidental OD last year and they ended up testing his brain for CTE (like Alzheimer's, but caused by repeated blows to the head). It's a long read (3 parts), but it's really well done and you get a good feel for hockey/Canadian culture, violence in sports, the physical sacrifice some of these guys make, etc. Similar to the fantastic work Alan Schwarz did for football and concussions a few years ago, and it's relevant with all the shit going on in hockey nowadays (Crosby, Flyers losing Giroux and Pronger): http://www.nytimes.c...?pagewanted=all

I miss when the Flyers had Brasheer and he would kick everyones ass.

HBO actually doesn't do the final cut up until 2.5 hours before the show airs so they don't miss anything that happens that day, pretty impressive production team.

Speaking of fast production times I really enjoyed the documentary about South Park where they show the creation of an episode that happens in a week. Sorry for the ghetto site, I would recommend torrenting the thing if you want to watch in non-ass quality. Check it out "Six Days to Air".
