My exact quote to Brandon was asking him if you were any good, because the app was lackluster. Which it was. It's pretty standard for me to ask any references an app gives to see what they have to say. I didn't say anything about your ability to play, since the app didn't tell me anything about your ability to play. But considering your reaction to such an innocent question that wasn't even directed at you, it raises some red flags to say the least.

I didn't even know who you were an hour ago (Wrath told me you would be apping) so the only time I ever mentioned you in guild chat was after your initial app - and we already went over what I said then. There are people in the guild who have rough edges, but especially since taking over as GL, Sobie honestly isn't one of them. Remember the whole talk about the value of constructive criticism? You know who was always the best and the most honest with that? Sobie.

I have no problem with checking references, etc., but run a random or invite to raid. A fail ass application that doesn't even ask what addons someone has or rotation, etc. is fail.

Just a thought, revise your application process. Strength is in performance not salesmanship.

Wow. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed.

I had a really great talk with you, too, Indecisive. Thought we saw eye to eye on a bunch of guild philosophy stuff. You really seemed like you knew what you were doing, so I figured we'd run something as a formality but I pretty much assumed that it would go great. I really thought you'd make a great addition to the guild. Sense of humor, energy, good experience, etc.

Your last few posts have shown that I was completely wrong, and you probably would have been a drama-causing cancer on the guild. I'm incredibly disappointed, but its for the best that this has was derailed. I recognize that you know someone who has a deep hatred of Sobie, in fact, I suspect I know who it is. Checking references on a guild and its GL before joining is a smart practice, and it reflects well on you that you did you homework. I understand how finding out this information may have caused you to reconsider your application and your feelings about the guild.

But the way you've chosen to ACT on this information suggests you're not someone I want to raid with. You didn't try to find out both sides of the story. Instead, against a person you've never met or spoken to, you went on the warpath in an attempt to create the most drama possible, not caring about any fallout. Is this how you run your raids and your own guild? And you accuse others of behaving badly?

For shame.
