The link is a short article on the crapware that it installs on your computer without telling you. Short Version: It turns your PC into a peer to peer node used to distribute their software so it eats up your bandwidth without you knowing.

It's bad. My major complaints are:
- They reuse the same maps a lot, every mansion is the same mansion, every cave is the same cave, every house is the same house, etc etc. There's probably less than a dozen maps over the whole game.
- There's no overhead/tactical camera, and no friendly fire on spells. Combat also comes in waves, so you'll dispatch the first dozen enemies in a fight then the next 6 will spawn in or jump of roofs. They do literally just spawn in plain sight of you if there's no place for them to logically come from. This also means there's no way to ration your spells or ability usage, because you never know how many more enemies you have to kill.
- The new armor system where all your companions wear special companion only armor is neat, but you still find TONS of cloth armor/dps armor if your main character is a tank or vice versa, which means roughly 2/3s of every piece of gear you pick up is unusable.
- The story is bad and I hate most of the characters.
Overall it gets really repetitive really fast. I normally enjoy replaying Bioware games, I've replayed ME2 and Origins a ton, and I've played kotor so many times. DA2 I can't see myself every playing again though.

Says a lot about a AAA release, when reviewers who are getting paid by EA can't bring themselves to give it 90%+ and it's getting pretty universally panned by user reviews something is up. Only reason the user reviews should be like that is: DRM, extremely buggy/unplayable at launch, or it's a Bad Game.

That would explain why I've occasionally gotten emails from my university saying my bandwidth usage spikes tremendously...
You can uninstall Pango if you still want to play LoL. I uninstalled LoL just because I don't trust a company that is going to install bullshit without telling me. If it was optional that would be straight but the way they did it leaves a bitter taste. I've heard the same things about Dragon Age. Rushed sequel that doesn't live up to the original, but I haven't played it myself (too busy being addicted to pokemon).

I just beat DA2 last night as a warrior. I'm starting it again today as a mage (i know .. me... a mage)
Same complaints in some respects, however I did enjoy it. I loved the first one, and the second one I enjoyed quite a bit, but got irritated every time I would try and figure out WTF is my role in this damn world.
Did some reading though after I beat it and found out why I lost a few of my companions in Act 1, so I'm going to try the other way around this time.
