He's on reddit now, pretty witty guy. With the username "WatsonsBitch" since "Lots of people think it's a Jeopardy reference, but actually I was thinking of that time Watson and I were cellmates in prison, and it kept raping me."
http://www.reddit.co...ennings_i_will/
Some other favorites:
On Trebek - "So I don't know the guy real well. He's a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a Perry Ellis suit."
On changes since winning - "Old people can't keep their dry, lilac-scented hands off me. Man, do old people ever love Jeopardy. I can't go anywhere in public where there might be old people, like Hallmark stores or cemeteries."
On preparing for Jeopardy - "Don't wear a sweater, you will look like a tool."
On specialization - "The problem with specialization is that cultural literacy is starting to disappear...there are fewer facts and references that you know everyone will know. Even something like TV--there are 175 channels instead of 3. This means it's harder to communicate. It's harder to get to know people. You should be building colossal marble statues of your Jeopardy champions, people! We are your last hope in a world in which you have outsourced all your stuff-remembering to Google."
Also, apparently he was roommates in college with the guy who writes Wheel of Time books; never read them myself but I know a few people in Heresiarch are fans.

I don't really read reddit. Most of my non-WoW enterainment browsing is limited to NY Magazine, ESPN, and Slate. Sometimes I'll read Engadget if I get the itch to buy a cool toy. For news I usually stick to NY Times and WSJ. Music blogs are probably where I have the most variety, a couple of dozen of those.
Heresiarch forum is the only one I regularly post in, you won't really find me anywhere else. (Can you imagine if I posted this often on other sites? With even more people that I'd have to respond to? I wouldn't sleep)

After 50 rounds against the veteran computer I had 22 wins, 15 ties, and 13 losses. Though I probably played a little different than I would with a human; I knew the AI was actively looking for a pattern so I kept trying to trick it - I wouldn't expect a human to keep track of all 50 of my choices. Could turn out different as I play more and more rounds since I'd lose track at some point and might fall into certain patterns.

You played 5 times? Wouldn't consider that enough of data. And the point is that it's not RNG, it's comparing the data you've given it so far with the 200,000 rounds it's accumulated beforehand. Besides, how would you know if it's RNG or not, unless you know the algorithm it's using and the data it's working off of. Would be pretty pointless to build something that just picks 1 out of 3 randomly.

Granted it was right at such a small sample, I was just evenly picking stuff at random - but still yeah - larger sample prob woulda been nicer.
That's a pretty beast chart btw.

Read the message that pops up when you start noob, it says you have to play at least 5 games before it starts guessing.
If only they could write a program to compensate for illiteracy.
