Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
I am a survival hunter. I've only used this spec at the beginning of wotlk due to the dps norm. Although, I am very versatile when it comes to all 3 specs and am able to optimally utilize every single ounce of utility each spec has to offer.

Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes and yes.

Do you have an authenticator?
Yes

Typical Weekly Playtime:
I can be on during your raid times.

Time Zone:
PST. Perfect for your raid time

Previous Guilds:
Drama Society

Previous Raiding Experience:
Everything in wotlk except for heroic sindy and heroic LK 25; and of course, the almost impossible ones such as one light, etc.

Why are you applying to us:
I need to share the love of great Survivability and Damage per second

Link us your Armory:
not sure how.

http://us.battle.net.../granger/simple ??

Wow web stats reports:
nope

Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
A few, just don't have the names in my head right now.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
Just an ordinary nurse who has an extremely good looking face who actually likes wow :P

The gear looks like it's the right ilvl for starting out raiding, but I have to question the lack of enchantments and JC gems.

All the gems you are using are uncommon, not rares.

I do like the exalted Therazane rep.

I can't speak to your gear choice or itemization preferences. It's odd that you gem for agility and mastery yet reforge to crit and not mastery. I don't know hunter mechanics, though, so that might be the recommended strategy.

There really isn't anything here that tells me that you know your class, though, and that worries me.
That which doesn't kill you gets to try again later.

I remember the last time he apped, sadly I can't find the app anymore for some reason (it was back during Sarth), we took him and another hunter. I know the other hunter got in even though he wasn't the better of the dps simply on attitude.
Not sure if people change that much.

well since we have a huge lack of ranged dps
prob worth it givin himg a shot
his dps doesnt seem bad but since sobe is the hunter in charge here he would be the best to judge the dps

Granger isn't that bad attitude wise... I think rofl.

I used to talk to him some so I'd stick my neck out on that front - better not send me the axe Granger.

Fear not, once you raid with me you will see how well I know my class.
On the assumption that I get to raid with heresiarch.

I'm not sure if I had ever applied to heresiarch, i've always been happy with bonzos and drama until recently. Although I could be mistaken.

  • Gear - Not sure if you're using the PvP gear for PvE. PvP set gear is actually acceptable atm due to the 4-piece, but it's getting chopped in half in 3.0.6. 222 under hit cap, 6 unenchanted items, no belt buckle, missing JC gems. Gem selection is all over the place.
  • Spec - OwN is a weak talent, SE and BD are better gains for the point.
  • Glyphs - Bestial Wrath?
  • WoL review - 75.6% (12th) on DPS time as a hunter. Explosive shot usage a bit low. Tops on toxitron adds on the kill. Used Ice Traps for adds. CD usage could be better. Needs to click lightwells. Overall DPS should be better for a 25-man, could easily do another 2k even in the unenchanted PvP gear.

Overall the app's a bit meh. But since we don't have any hunters except me I have no problem giving him a trial. He wouldn't be the worst DPS we have, might get better with some polish.

Ashley, I think we were thinking of Linguistic, he was the annoying guy.

Yeah, we had Linguistic and Vick apping at the same time. They actually both apped at the same time twice. First, Linguistic apped and we turned him down for being generally undergeared. Then he and Vick apped at the same time and we turned Linguistic down basically because of his attitude and his gear, though better, was still meh plus he still hadn't done all the stuff we had told him to do. We almost took Vick but decided he wasn't quite there.

The Linguistic and Vick app'ed more or less together AGAIN a month or two later. Both were finally decently geared, and though Linguistic was a little better, we decided we liked Vick's attitude better. Vick then promptly disappeared for a vacation or something and I think Passa left/was removed about then as well, and Linguistic re-apped AGAIN, having FINALLY fixed everything we'd told him to fix and swearing up and down his attitude was different, and it seemed to be so we took him. And then, after spending 6 months trying to get in, disappeared after like 3 weeks of raiding.

Granger has been around Drenden for quite some time and I've run a bunch of stuff with him over the years. While I wouldn't say he's going to threaten Sobe, I would say that he's the kind of guy that if you joined a pug VoA and saw his name, your first reaction would be "Cool. I have a good feeling about this." I've never done "real" raiding with him, and I wouldn't say I know him particularly well and for all I know someone may have a serious horror story to relate. However, regardless of enchant/reforge nitpicks (which we'd expect you to straighten out), I'd say we were making a mistake if we didn't at least give him a test run.

Part of the reason why my gear/dps/enchant/gem isn't really up to date could be due to my lack of motivation. Just like how Darksuo said in one of his posts "you being happy is actually important". Since i've been a little bit disappointed the past few weeks, my interest in using the finest materials has been slowly crawling away. Even though this could just be an excuse, I still recognize the fact that I will have to replace some of my gems/enchants as this necessitates for superior raiding.

So are you disenchanted (cwutididdere) with raiding in general or just the circumstances that caused you to leave DS? Heresiarch just started raiding so we're still establishing our "identity" as a raid team, so it's not like we'd be asking for a 5-year commitment; but if you're feeling burnt out it would be best for all parties involved if you figured out what you were really looking for. On that note, you should probably know that we haven't run a full 25s yet and are running 2 10s while recruiting to fill the gaps.

I love raiding. Part of the reason why i'm applying here instead of just completely quitting wow. I don't think i've been or will be burnt out from raiding...
