Start of Catalog raids

I'm not sure where this would belong on the forums, but this category had the most recent posts so I thought I'd post here and hope it could be moved by a moderator if it belongs elsewhere.
Anyway, I just dinged 85 today (yes, a little late), and have seen the recent GMOTD regarding gear item level expectations for Cata raids. However I was left with 2 questions, and with spotty availability to log in while visiting family for Christmas thought I'd make a post. Ok now that I've rambled per my usual tendency (those of you have met me in game know what I'm talking about...), here are my 2 questions:
1) When are we planning on starting 25m raids? I've see elsewhere January but was wondering if we had something more specific. I ask regarding my recent dinging because I would like to try my best to be prepared at the beginning.
2) I swear when I started this post I had a second question but it has now escaped me. Maybe I'll remember after some replies? Oh well, lol.

I've remembered my second question! Whch raid zone are we planning on going to, how many bosses in should I read up on, and do you all utilize a resource other than/in addition to Tankspot for strats that I should be familiar with? Ok so maybe that's 3 questions but you get my gist. Thanks!

Weird that your iPad would correct the word Cataclysm. I'm pretty sure it's in the dictionary unless you butchered the spelling somehow.

Well I'm sure I was too lazy to type out cataclysm in full so I think I probably titled it Cata and it autofilled to catalog somehow. It also doesn't like to correct solitary I's to capitals, which is weird because the iphone does. So yeah it makes me look like a general idiot if I don't go back and proof my work, which I'm not in the habit of doing.
