Tough to get past the helmet to see.

Well, the tinfoil doesn't really absorb blows all that well.

Left-handed compliment.

So you were dropped on your head repeatedly as a child? Makes a lot of sense actually.

No not dropped, I was just extremely rambunctious and prone to leaping before looking, so I fell down a lot, fell out of trees and ran into corners quite a lot.

That sounds so stupid when I say it, but I was just playing and totally not paying attention, i was a little kid.

and I meant what I said as a compliment, or rather thanks, unless you think that what Katie said wasn't a compliment, which I thought it was :(

Retards often lack basic motor skills and hand-eye coordination, hence the helmet.

Sigh. I wish Cata would hurry the hell up. I'd like to at least see Halion, but its hard to get motivated to even log in.

It's funny, I guess I'm more a creature of habit than I think I am. Back when I was playing every day it was much harder to break out of the cycle since I'd feel like I was "missing out" if I didn't log on. But once I stopped the routine - AH, jc/alchemy dailies, randoms - I feel no inclination whatsoever to get back into it. Also shocking how much time it freed up; now I can work on my music, take dance classes, train for a marathon, cook myself dinner, go out boozin, and still have time left in the day. It's frickin fantastic.

Yeah, Bliz is insidious in how clever their treadmills are. Step out for a day or so and you feel like you're missing the world. But step out for a couple weeks and its hard to remember why it seemed so important. Plus, it helps that there's basically nothing going on to miss right now.

Been convenient for me. School started for the Wrathettes, it feels like we've already made more friends here than we had in NYC (and we were hardly hermits in NYC as my erratic raiding schedule would attest), getting back into working out regularly, played Aion a little and then, after close to a 5 year wait, the ToME4 beta has finally come out (its a distant descendant of Moria/Angbang/Nethack if that means anything) and its been fun to revisit a game I started playing in college when the whole concept of email was mindblowing. A little sad to see obvious WoW influences on it now, though.

I did not even know this was a thing, I'll have to check it out.

Anyone looking to spend the best $10 you will ever spend: http://minecraft.net/
Game is currently $10, and the price will double once the game enters beta.

Some super popular guy on youtube just started advertising it so it's gotten a ton of new people over the last few days.

Quote

In the last 24 hours, 15976 people registered, and 4614 people bought the game.
457994 registered users, of which 88298 (19.27%) have bought the game total.

88 thousand people paying $10 for a game that is essentially developed by 1 person.
