Bare-bones app, but I ran an ICC 10 and 25 with him today and he put out decent numbers, did reasonably well on mechanics. If we want another hunter I'd say it's worth giving him a shot, we can iron out the idiosyncrasies later.

So who are these best hunters on realm or from other realms? I am curious where you get your ideas from. Do you take what these people say as law or do you think for yourself? Just a few basic questions.

i was in backroom with this guy and as i remember he NEVER switched to adds , he put up good numbers but he has single target blinders, which isnt going to help much in hard modes

From what I saw on Saurfang 25 he did switch to beasts, and actually did twice as much damage to them as Guinthel (on his hunter Ledd). Also, he has the unfortunate luck of playing the same class as me, so if he pulls any shit like that during hard modes, I will know and yell at him.

um no efebo im not bcuz we started with 3 hunters puppychow, enziio and darknin(long b4 u joined us efebo) and he was weeded out bcuz of it by GM, however he ran with us the other night and if sobe says he is switching then he must have changed his ways

You may very well be right, and I really know nothing about his personality. But I'd say one of the best ways to gauge someone's ability to perform and follow directions is when they don't know when they're being watched, and Darknin could easily have ignored adds to make his numbers look better since he was just in a pug. But he didn't, and it's rare (for me at least) to see an app's performance in two full raids before they app. What I saw made me think that there's at least something to work with, and that's more than you can say about most of the apps we get around here. From a DPS standpoint he's probably around Dederra, and time will tell if he's as willing to learn and do the little things.

I can be downright brutal when it comes to apps, but really I'm just looking for any sort of sign that the person is competent (If I was going just by the quality of the written app, I'd say no). Same thing with Gesusbeams, I'm not sure if he'll work out in the personality department, but I saw what he was able to do in ToC 25 and told Efebo to make him app.

1. PST is not 3 hours behind realm time. It is either 2 or 3 hours behind, depending on the day of the year (currently it is 2). However, it is highly likely that you are 3 hours behind realm time, and are mistaken that you are on PST.
2. How did you find out about us? I'm curious because Sobe claims to have played with you. Unusual for that to happen before he sets fire to the application.

To my knowledge there are only a few places that don't recognize day lights saving, none of which are on the West Coast (excluding Hawaii). So PST would be 3 hours behind EST.
