2. yes I have ventrilo with headset and mic
3. yes via my iphone
4. I can play anytime day or night
5. I am on us central time zone
6. I was in unseen wrath and the guild that Lillia had a long time ago.
7. I have raided very little in the Kalmidor area, somewhat in BC and raided everything in icc except RS. I can explain the fights more so from a dps point of view and somewhat from a tank and a good bit from a healer (have another toon druid heals)
8. Would like to be a raiding/progression guild. I have heard a lot of good things about this guild. My friend Lillia is in this guild and Rohanna has helped me tremendously on bettering my dps/damage. I think I could be an assest to this guild
9. http://www.wowarmory...enden&n=elyndra
10.http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/gc8woll7tcy3zzf7/ I hope I did this right
11. Lillia
12. I am 46 years old, retired veteran..I enjoy wow and raiding..I use wow to stay in contact with my children. Since I am retired I am able to play anytime I want to. However, occasionally life does get in the way but I am loyal to the guild I am in and love to help out where and when I can.

Edit: Also I would like to know if you are saved to ICC 25 this week. Hit up either Rohanna or myself and we can chat.
I am sorry about the log thing but I just can't figure out how to do what you want. I have tried in a lot of different ways. I am usually do not have this much of blonde moment but I just don't know how to do it.
No I am not saved to icc 25 man.

Why did you leave your last guild any way?
As far as why I left my last guild is for several reasons. I was in the guild from its beginning. I was made an officer within a week (the only female one the guild has ever had). It started with my son graduating from high school and I was gone for a week to attend. Then when we got home we had been burglarized and my computer, monitors everything was stolen, right when I got another computer and monitor our internet was down for a week..needless to say I was not on for about 3 weeks. When I returned my guild booted me from my raid team (although I was one of two permanent members all the rest were pugged from the guild of whoever was on). When I applied for Requiem so that I could raid which is my priority..(I love it) I was demoted from officer to a recruit which is the bottom of the barrel. I understood the demotion from officer but not to recruit. So because of problems out of my control I lost my raiding status and when I tried to go where I could raid was demoted to the lowest level. I felt I was no longer wanted in the guild as even before this none of the officers would talk to me...I felt like I was not welcome to the mens club if you know what I mean. I was never asked for my opinions as an officer except in the very beginning of the guild startup. I hope this explains it all sorry to be so long but I felt it was important to include some other details.

Not seeing much raid experience in any tier. 0 kills of KT, Yogg, 1 clear of ToC, 9/12 in ICC.
No 3/3 Ice Floes? I'm hardly a mage expert but why wouldn't you want a shorter CD on Icy Veins instead of reducing the cast time of frost bolt as an Arcane mage. Also, pure haste gems?

Wait what? You applied for Requiem, they made you an officer, then a recruit? Something is off about that. And I thought you said your previous guild was Unseen Wrath.

Call me a cynic, but this statement reeks of drama.

Don't even know what to say about that.

As far as drama..I am not a drama person one of the reasons I left the guild. I did not cause any drama over the situation I accepted it as it was until they made me a recruit. I was never in Requiem I was in unseen wrath. I was demoted by unseen wrath when I applied to requiem.
I was contacted by Rohanna as she saw my application on Requiems application page. She emailed me and worked with me on things that were wrong with my gear. She suggested changing some specs which I did and regemming which I did. Her help was very valuable to me. I could see the difference in my dps right away.
I am devoted player to friends and guild. I like to help when I can. I appreciate any constructive critism and work hard at making my toon the best I can at raiding as I can. I am a quite person (my life is very calm..being retired helps ..lol). I do not like drama and sorry that my statement made it seem that way, but I was asked why I left and wanted to be honest. I was reviewing your guild roster and wanted to add that I also know diablorjo (since I was a baby toon lol), and Gritz (was in his guild but it was long ago and I don't know the name of it) and have ran with both.
Hope this clarifies some things.

I think she applied to Req while still in Unseen Wrath and Unseen Wrath demoted her from officer to recruit... But yea... that single statement screams drama...
Noticed the Icy Floes earlier too and thought maybe she was forced to use slow for certain raid roles... but yea you want that puppy maxed right?
Lol @ Rohanna helping you dps.

Also am working on replacing the yellow haste gems with the +12 spell and +10 haste. I use frostbolt on saurfang to slow the blood beast that is why I spec'd in shorter cast time of frostbolt. Not sure why the information only shows one clear of ToC I have done that raid many times. As I stated earlier I have done dreamwalker but dc'd..and have worked on sindy but never completed it.

Bit of a disconnect between those two statements. Most guilds have some variation of this policy, why would they want you to fill up a raid slot and take gear when you wanted to leave? I don't know all sides of the story so I'll just leave it at that.

So are we poaching rejects from Requiem now? Don't know quite how I feel about that.

Then I don't know why you still have flaws in your character that were pointed out when you were denied to Requiem. They posted some constructive criticism ( http://req.dkpsystem...=2453&newpost=1 ), this is your 2nd (perhaps more?) app, and you still haven't optimized your character?

Arcane mages only get 3% talents and 3% from boomkin/spriest right?
She needs 11% by that math?

You're using 3 haste/spirit gems.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have to correct spec before you app to two raiding guilds? Looking at Requiem's app form:
"Have you read the sticky on the forum titled 'Applicants, Read Before You Apply?'
yes"
From the "Read Before You Apply" thread:
"What we expect from applicants:
You should be ready to step into a raiding environment, this means a few things. You should have the best gear available to you along with correct gemming and enchanting. Your spec and glyph choice should be the correct setup for whatever your roll calls for"
Emphasis mine on that last part. Where do you go for your mage information? Why aren't you doing your own reading and research? Also troubles me that you failed to provide a WoL on two separate apps and just gave up. Basic class knowledge is not that hard to come by, and I'm not seeing any initiative on your part to even cover the basics. Having the correct specs/gems/enchants is one of the easiest parts of raiding and requires no skill, just effort - have to take 10 mins to look it up once every few months, depending on class.
Edit: As an aside, I like the whole "having correct gem/enchant/spec/glyph" bit and if we should poach anything from Requiem it's that policy. Making some "non-conventional" decisions is fine, but the app should be able to provide solid reasoning and back it up with quantifiable evidence.

Yes this would be a great idea, I thought I had done that. The information I was using was not up to date anymore and was suggested a new sight to start referring to.
Also troubles me that you failed to provide a WoL on two separate apps and just gave up.
I did not give up on this..I did ask for assist in trying to figure it out if you look back on my reply,,,I am sorry about the log thing but I just can't figure out how to do what you want. I have tried in a lot of different ways. I am usually do not have this much of blonde moment but I just don't know how to do it. I tried to figure it out but was unable to get it right.
"having correct gem/enchant/spec/glyph"
I have read up on my mage spec, gems, talents, and glyphs but I have found some information is old and the place to learn is from a mage that is better than you are. I do both learn from talented players and research on my own.
I do thank you for all of your advice and assistance. I am sorry you felt so negative about my application.

I consider the attitude of "I can't do this, do it for me" giving up. Not to say that asking for help is a bad thing, but to me a motivated person with initiative doesn't take that route. And the fact that you can't follow basic instructions from a website doesn't bode well for, say reading a strat on our forums and executing it. And lets say you're an outlier with a bizarre never-before-seen bug that prevents you from getting it to work? You should have posted the steps you took and where it went wrong, both here and on the WoL forums. Give yourself more credit than just having a "blonde moment."

I'm sorry but who/where told you to gem spell pen and use a run speed meta? That's not outdated information, it's just plain wrong. Also, just because someone is better than you doesn't mean they're correct. You shouldn't take anything you hear on face value (yes even the stuff people are telling you here) - you should take the time to learn for yourself the reasons and verify the facts behind it. For example, you're going to switch out the yellow haste gems for orange sp/haste gems. Do you know why? Can you explain why the sp/haste is better for mages in your own words? If you can't, you really haven't learned anything; you're just regurgitating information that could be completely wrong.

I don't see anything wrong with asking for help in getting a WOL going. Better she asks for help than just gives up.
The gemming and such is a valid concern though. I understand that you're trying to get that corrected, which is a good thing. When you go to sites like EJ, always check the date of the post/date of last edit to make sure you're getting current info. Also, when you google for a class breakdown, make sure to include the most recent patch number to help narrow down the links to more current info. Wow.com has a mage column each week called Arcane Brilliance, there were a few posts about gemming from patch 3.3.3. I think anything has changed since then, so I would imagine the info is still valid. I don't play a mage though, so I could be wrong there.
