#showtooltip
/cast [target=mouseover,help,nodead][help][target=player] Abolish Poison

1. Type /m to open the macro menu.
2. Click "New" Use the ? icon. Give your macro a name and click ok.
3. Paste the text from the quote above into the text field.
4. Repeat steps 2-3, substituting "Abolish Poison" for any of your spells. If you open the macro menu and your spellbook at the same time, you can Shift+Click a spell from your spell book to copy the name (and rank) into the macro text field.

This will create a mouseover healing macro. Basically, instead of having to click on a person to heal them, you can just hover your mouse over their raid frame and it will target them for the heal.

/stopcasting
/cast Nature's Swiftness
/cast [target=mouseover,help,nodead][help][target=player] Healing Touch

This one is very handy. It will cast Nature's Swiftness and Healing touch together. It's a great "OH NOES!" button, and I usually use it when a person is in serious trouble or right after a b-rez.

#showtooltip
/cast [btn:1]Rebirth;Revive

Speaking of B-rez - This will cast Rebirth (b-rez) if you left click on it and Revive (reg rez) if you right click on it. This isn't one you'd want to put on your keybindings, it's a button for clickin'.

/script PlaySoundFile("Sound\\Creature\\BabyMurloc\\BabyMurlocDance.wav")

And that's just there cus it's FREAKING ADORABLE.

They work for any healing class, you just have to plug in your spell name. Mouse over PoM is mo' sexy.

Don't bother with mouseovers until you have mastered the art of spamming non stop and minimizing movement. I still don't think any healers in our team, myself included have yet been able to cast as often and as effectively as we could be, and mouse over macros only make the problem more complex.

Someday when i can heal without even showing my action bars ill pickup mouseover macros, but definitely not until then.

By stream you mean click person A, cast spell, while casting click person B?

Somewhere around here, is a similar Macro I made quite a while back, it has the mouse over feature, but includes self cast/focus cast/etc.

Edit: Found it, not certain if they have changed things to as whether or not it still works, but here it is.

#showtooltip
/use [mod:ctrl,target=focus,help,nodead][mod:ctrl]Lifebloom;[mod:alt,target=player,he
lp,nodead][mod:alt]Lifebloom;[target=mouseover,help,nodead][]Lifebloom

Explaination as to everything it did was here: http://www.heresiarc...ifebloom-macro/

Could also be used for attack spells if I recall correctly, replacing "help" to "harm".

<y shaman moves with the left hand on the WASD keys and heals with the mouse in the right hand using mouseover macros with Grid. I have my healing spells bound to my mouse buttons so I can heal with just the right hand (ok, I have to press ALT with my left hand to get to the cleanse spell but still...). It's really the only setup that works for me.
When all is said and done....

Guin, I'm not sure if you're understanding what I mean when I say mouseover macro. Mouseover macros are meant to be added to your action bar in place of the regular spells. Rather than having to actually target a person by clicking on them, you just have to hover your mouse over their toon or their raidframe to cast on them. Because of the way Druids heal, it's not going to hurt any Druid healer to have mouseover macros, it's going to hurt them to NOT have mouseover macros.

I don't think this is a hindrance at all. If there is an issue with someone moving too much, the presence or absence of a macro like this isn't going to stop them from moving.

Spamming is NOT a habit you want people getting into considering the changes to healing and mana in Cataclysm. If you get people into a mindset that spamming means you're "doing it right", when the changes hit, you're going to be worse off because now they have to unlearn spamming and learn to heal with mana efficiency instead. Anyone who played a healer in Classic will remember, I'm sure, want a dirty thing it was to overheal. Overheals were basically wasted mana and a way to gauge how skilled your healer was. You're far better off encouraging them to understand their spells and make sure they're healing effectively rather than just spamming and casting for the sake of casting.

Which really was the point I was getting at in the thread about innervates btw, on sind.
I'm not dumb, I just choose not to be smart at the moment.
