Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
I originally picked a Druid because you can do anything with a Druid.... heal, DPS, tank. I settled on Resto because it seemed the easiest thing to learn as a beginner, but I've been working on building up her DPS gear. I picked her talents from the Elitist Jerks website. I like that she has hots and can heal more than one person at a time if need be. I know I still have a lot of room for improvement on how best to use her talents.

Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes to both

Typical Weekly Playtime:
I can raid all nights except for Thursday at the moment.

Time Zone:
EST

Previous Guilds:
Assylum (folded)
Rising Phoenix (folded)
Fail (split to BBB)
BBB (merged w/ Heresiarch)

Previous Raiding Experience:
Mostly 10 man raids in previous guilds but some 25 man Karazan and Nax. I've also done 25 man Nax, TOC and Ulduar with this guild.

Why are you applying to us:
I'm already in the guild, I just want to be eligible to run in the raids

Link us your Armory:
http://www.wowarmory...nden&cn=Allikit

Wow web stats reports:
not available

Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
I know Kidkill the best :) , but have run with several people in the guild while in this guild and in previous guilds (Aif, Hecatus, Wrathblood).

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I started on WOW only three years ago, and unfortunately had limited playing time while I working on my MBA for the last year and a half on nights and weekends. Now that I am free again (well except for working full time and being a mom) I hope to get more playing time in... especially so I can improve.

From what I've seen you're not quite ready for 25 raids in terms of performance. I would try to get more experience in 10s, VoA, pugs, etc. and do your best to learn about the class and healing in general. Also, not being able to make Thursdays kind of hurts since that's when we tend to need people the most.

Pretty common from my experience.

Yeah, I know I do it myself. Especially if you've got multiple level 80 alts you can feel the need to be a little more specific about who you're referring to. Also, probably more importantly, the "Character = me" connection is just a lot less firmly in place when raiding on more than one character.

Of course, since she's applying on allikit, it would probably be fine to refer to the druid as "me" since that's who the app is about. Plus, just to be pedantic, Allikit the druid has the HoTs, while the literal "me" typing the app has the MBA instead (grats, btw!. Its less magical but probably better from a career standpoint unless you're a doctor. There are probably business applications of being able to turn into a tree but other than corporate espionage or maybe making the worlds' most painful maple syrup they escape me at the moment).

I like her and think she could be productive, but will probably take a little time to get fully ready.

Cuddle's probably a dendrophiliac too, might be interested in renting out some tree-on-fur time.

Well to be fair I think the picture was just the bear scratching his back. I just appropriated it for my inappropriate methods since the bear has a funny expression.

Asians don't have a sense of humor? Didn't know that.

I was playing along with your joke. I mean, a bear scratching its back on a tree isn't actually NSFW unless one is playing along with you.

At the moment recruitment isn't open for healers, if it opens back up I am sure Kid will let you know.

Can you let me know directly since I'm in the guild, or should I just keep checking the forums, since Kid is concerned he won't know when a position is open?

Thanks for the vote of confidence :) Working on the degree is def less magical, and less fun than turning Allikit into a tree!! LOL I know I have some work to do, and poor Allikit has been neglected, so hopefully with practice and guidance I'll get there.

Thanks for the feedback. The good news is the Thursday non availibility is only temporary.
