Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
0/16/55 Resto Spec Shaman – I chose this particular build to be an end game raid healer and to maximize the effectiveness of my chain heal and riptide while casting LHW and HW intermittently to spot heal as needed. This build also allows for the increase int and improved shields to help with earth shield and mana shield.
Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes I have Vent and a mic, however I do not tend to talk much unless I have something important to add to the raid or a clarification on a specific strategy.
Typical Weekly Playtime:
I usually play Monday through Thursday from 7pm CST til roughly 11pm CST. I do work from 9am-6pm generally and it can take me a little extra time to get home due to traffic but I am on as close to 7pm as I can be. I can also make weekend gaming on Sunday evenings.
Time Zone:
I'm in CST, but my previous guild was EST so I am used to playing to that schedule.
Previous Guilds:
Destiny - Arygos (Raider)
Previous Raiding Experience:
WoTLK – Naxx 10/25 All Bosses, Ulduar 10/25 up to Freya, ToC 10/25 All Bosses, VoA 10/25 All Bosses, Onyxia 10/25, ICC 10/25 -up to Plagueworks (Festergut and Rotface only)
Why are you applying to us:
I left my previous guild because they suspended raiding and fell apart. I was looking for a raiding guild to join as this is what I enjoy doing in the end game. I love learning the different strategies for raid fights and understanding and growing my role in making a successful raid. I am always learning more about how to make myself a more proficient healer in various circumstances. After searching around for various guilds, doing some research and talking to a couple of your guild members I decided that this was a guild I would like to join. I am currently on a different server and alliance but am wanting to go horde as that is my roots back in classic WoW and honestly had more fun on the horde side.

This was kind of low hps but was before I drastically upped my haste rating. My haste is still a little lower than I would like, so any advice/guidance/criticism is greatly appreciated.
Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
Cuddlebutt and Savros
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm an avid gamer, but outside of that I enjoy playing sports and I play bass guitar and drums. I'm pretty relaxed and just enjoy playing wow, but put my game face on when it's raid time.

You could up your haste rating by upgrading your blue gems to purple ones, and using only haste gems... if your really wanted the advice.
Personally once I hit 28000 mana unbuffed (I think I am 27000ish... now) I started gemming only haste (I think I have 1 int gem to keep up over 27000). Course minus the 1 purple gem to keep up my meta.
With your gear level you could probably also use the elemental totem from the frost emblem vendor, I know it sounds a little crazy but it will get you the haste you need.
You must be super unlucky with drops what is with the shield!
Would also be interested in hearing why you took Focused Mind over Ancestral Awakening. Or why you picked the weapon enchant over the pushback.
It looks like you have done enough ICC (you have the revered ring) just wondering why it is that you don't have any of the tier pieces, or the mittens? or maybe the saronite to have made the boots or the pants? (the pants are BiS imo).

I'm not dumb, I just choose not to be smart at the moment.

Yeah the drops have been unlucky for me, I have not been able to upgrade that shield for the life of me. I do appreciate all the tips and will work on the gems and look into the totem. I am currently saving up my frost badges to get the Tier 10 gear and then will look at the totem. As for the Saronite gear, I have been salavating trying to get it, but want to spend my initial frost badges to get the T10 gear then will work on Saronite gear. I agree with it being BiS. Thank you for the suggestions!

Nashiir is good people, on a player standpoint and in general.
I've known him outside of wow for 5 or 6 years now I think, and he's frankly one of the people I enjoy getting to socialize with a great deal owing to his maturity and intelligence. He's got a solid understanding of what being on a team means, and I've never seen him show temper or act like a prima donna even in cases where he got royally screwed. He's also *very* dependable.
Looking over his gear, I realize I know next to nothing about shaman healing aside from the fact that he has the alliance version of that trinket I want (SotF) and as such I will need to cut him with a switchblade next time I see him. (Nothing personal, hon) Other than that, his gear/stats actually look better than mine did when I applied, so I suppose that's good. (Sucks to be a Shaman, your haste cap is the icky.)
That aside, knowing him I'm sure he'd be fast to get up to speed if we take him and he would make one hell of a solid addition to the raid team.

And don't forget he's a GIANT, like 7'1 or something like that.

Is he really that tall? My best friend in high school (and the best man at my wedding) was 6'9" or so, and its rare to come across someone taller (being a nerd in high school was a lot less painful if you also happened to have a friend who was the size of a small building. Toss in being pretty good at sports and suddenly the world was your oyster). That having been said, I was in the Tyson's Corner mall in northern VA about 15 years ago and saw Gheorge Muresan going into stores with a friend (I think the friend was trying on clothing). That guy was fucking *HUGE*.
