how you get that im incompetent from my previous statement baffles me

You posted recount when we asked for WWS (or WoL).

You offered to post a recount screenshot for me after I stated in 2 posts that recount screenshots are useless.

That's what makes me think you can't follow directions.

That's what makes me think you don't care about following directions; I was saying you should post an actual combat log that would be useful.

Take Sobe's posts with a grain of salt. He is a unique snowflake.... laced with cyanide..... wrapped around a container of TNT ..... strapped to the back of a talking dolphin.

I guess I feel compelled to ask a few substantive questions:

1. What spell/ability do you use your KM procs on?
2. Do you use any addons to track KM/Rime/diseases?
3. Do you use any macros? If so please post one.
When all is said and done....
there's usually more said than done.

copy and pasted from your guilds example app sheet

Wow web stats reports:
Link us a recent WWS/WoL (or Recount SS if you have none of these available) so we can check out your DPS/heals/tankage.

looks to me like you need to rethink what your saying.....i havent been in a real raid in weeks so i have no WWS or WoL so i posted a recount SS like the app asked

KM procs are best used with HB or Rime procs however if you dont have a Rime proc active use it on a Frost Strike

2. Do you use any addons to track KM/Rime/diseases?

i use an addon called Event Alert to let me know when i proc KM and Rime i also use a disease tracker for my dots

3. Do you use any macros? If so please post one.

i dont use any dps macros

I guess someone edited the sample thread since I wrote it, I disagree with what's there but you were in the right. But saying you don't have a log is a crappy excuse, just type /combatlog and upload it yourself. Takes about as long as uploading an unreadable screenshot to photobucket.

Here's another way of looking at it. I've posted somewhere around 200 times in app threads. I don't think we've ever rejected anyone with a WoL parse due to lack of ability. The vast majority of players who post recount screenshots are garbage/get made fun of, and I can't recall a single good player who did.

If you want to trade cliches, some things are rare for a reason. But now we're venturing into "I'm gud, even though I really have no proof" territory. Funny thing is that there's a good chance a new DK could outDPS our current DKs (mostly because they're either undergeared/not playing to the potential for the class), but there's really no way to verify your ability without a log.

Sobe lost a bet (well, not exactly but close enough) and had to be nice to everyone for a week. That week just ended and I think he found you first.

He actually does know what he's talking about, but he seems a bit crabby today for some reason.

I think inno annoyed me about something and it snowballed from there. The guy seems to take it in stride, so that's a plus for him in the personality department.

Just imagine how ornery I'll be if we kill Sindragosa this week and I have to go to Maine to blow Rystorm.

Saw that he was in Malediction, but he'd changed his name so it didn't ring a bell and I figured he was someone who joined after I left. Turns out, I do know him and actually recruited him into Malediction ages ago and we raided together for a while. Solid player, reliable and a good guy. I can't say that we have a spot for him since, as has been noted, we're deep in plate wearers already and while we're no longer deep in dks, we're not shallow either now that Chris is rolling a dk. However, if there's a spot available, I'd give him a thumbs up.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

Solid DPS wise and decent use of globals - much better at mashing than I'd expect from your typical app (particularly DK apps).

Auto attacks are a bit higher as a percentage of your damage than I'd expect - I would have expected FS/OB to be a larger portion of your total damage, especially with the shortal globals from Unholy Presence. FYI, the simulators show about a 400 DPS increase going from Unholy to Blood presence in your gear, so I would test it more in 25-mans. Blood should be even nicer when Drenden is laggy - could lose some of the benefit of Unholy due to latency. Looks like you missed a couple of Rime procs to Howling Blast and you're missing BCB (shouldn't need the threat reduction with raiding tanks that get misdirects), so that'll skew numbers a bit. ~95% uptime on both diseases, also very good.

Hard to get a judge of awareness since VoA is pretty simple, but as far as squeezing out the deeps from gear with the standard rotation you seem to do well. I know we're a bit heavy on plate wearers, but you're geared and we only have one enhancement shaman, so having a Frost DK around for windfury should be useful. Worth a shot imo.

Sob isn't the guild (yeah, sorry Sob its true) and he judges EVERYONE in regard to their spec, rotation, glyphs, gems, how they spell, grammar, if they mash buttons enough, if they do enough of this or that, and I suspect he has some very choice things to say about the actions/inactions of every living or past living human on the planet...and perhaps Romulan too. Having said that...he's like our own Simon Cowell or Gordon Ramsey...he has his niche and purpose. I personally like to have him around for comic relief when I'm feeling 'fiesty'.

So, welcome to the guild app list. Target firmly attached to your chest and the 'kick me' sign on the back...
