Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
I am a solid retadin, I've played this toon for about 3.5yrs now the last three on Drenden as an Ally. I decided to leave the Alliance because of too much drama and ego stuff which I will explain a little further when I tell you what guilds I was in. I'v done my share of research on talent speccing, elitist jerks, various forums, I'm sure you get the point. I have tried tanking and found it wasn't really me. I have a majority of ilvl 213/232 healing gear sitting in my bank just in case I ever want to try that. I have NO problem respeccing if someone knows something I don't, I'm not gonna respecc if it's a matter of opinion but if there are facts to back it up I'll try it.
Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes and my wife hardly ever complains.
Typical Weekly Playtime: Okay I work 3days on 3days off so my play times/days rotates with that schedule. When I am not working I am usually on a whole lot of the day. I can raid anywhere from noon til 3am generally as long as I don't have to work the next day, I have never signed up for a raid and not shown up.
Time Zone:
EST
Previous Guilds:
Well they are Alliance guilds and I'm sure some of you either have an ally toon or know someone who does, I am not going to list all since I have played for some time but the last few were Tetractys of the Decad, when Ulduar dropped we had a major fraction in the guild and there was too much drama going on, ultimately we failed because of clicks. We did full clears on Naxx and I have only done 3 bosses in Uld. the next guild was Fight Club of Azeroth, I left them because I felt things were getting clicky again and I was being benched for people with less experience and lower gear then myself. I did however down the first boss in ICC with them and ran ToC/ToGC with them numerous times.
Previous Raiding Experience:
I did read this question I jut kind of felt it was better to explain most of my raiding experience with the guilds so you would have a better idea of where I have been and what I have done.
Why are you applying to us:
I have had friends who have played Horde on this server in the past, most worth mentioning was an orc warrior named Bonecracker a paladin named Wynde and an undead mage who's name I can't remember right now . . . damn I'm feeling old. Anyhow the point is they reccomended I check you out. I also asked around a bit while running some randoms and I was pointed towards you, Kitten Soup, Fail, and Backroom. Your guild came up as the least dramatic. I think Fail was reccomended because when I first hit lvl 70 I was big into pvping and I have sort of wandered away from that.

Wow web stats reports:
Saddly I don't have a link to place here.
Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
Nope I don't really know anyone there.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
Well I like long walks on the beach sipping Corona's . . .okay that's probably not what you meant. I'm 39, a big kid at heart, never take myself too seriously. I a manager in a Wal-Mart super center it's a bit demanding on me so I use WoW to relieve stress. In the summer time I get torn between my Suzuki sv650s and my game, usually the bike wins lol! I have two kids a 9yr old and a 17yr old both still play Ally toons and yes I've killed them both in BG's since doing my faction change. Thats me in a nutshell.

I like the overall tone of your app. Unfortunately, we're really deep in ret paladins right now and its hard to find time for the ones we currently have much less add another to the mix. Your odds of getting in as a holy paladin are probably stronger, but since we just got a new one we might not have a strong need their either atm I'm afraid.
A couple thoughts on your spec/gear, etc. For the most part your gemming is fine (obviously the one in your shoulders is sub-optimal but its its not a ton worse and you can probably swap to STR/Crit when you upgrade the piece), but you really should go with the AGIL/+%crit meta instead. AGIL after raid buffs is at least 95% as good as crit and it would let you swap your wrist gem.
For Glyphs, I'd really swap the HoW glyph for SoV. If mana is a problem, there are probably better glyphs, and since you're well off the dodge-cap for EXP the SoV glyph is probably still the biggest dps glyph available.
Lastly, for spec, while the last 5 or so points for a ret paladin are pretty discretionary, DI is a pretty low-value place to put them. I mean, after raid buffs, those 5 points are giving you maybe +20-25 INT which isn't much value. Admittedly, the other options aren't very attractive either, but at least you could pick up SoC (sure, its only good for trash and heroics, but its only 1 point and its REALLY good for those situations. Remember, the trash has to die too). Divinity or the Prot utility talents can at least be situationally useful.
