If you haven't read this, I HIGHLY recommend it. I had no idea what had happened to the "the fat one" over the last decade nor had I any idea what a great writer he was as well having only known him from TV. Nor was I aware what an amazing man he is.
This article is beautiful, I honestly can't remember being moved by a piece in a magazine like this in my life. I know many people have called it depressing, but I honestly don't see that in the article. The selection where Robert talks about Siskel and goes to view his tribute did make me cry, but Robert's story overall is just incredible and uplifting. It's loving, hopeful and brutally honest.
