Pretty much a cookie cutter Disc spec. Up until a few weeks ago i hadn't played a disc spec since pre-bc, but with the lack of disc heals is my previous guild i decided to pick it up and have been playing disc last few weeks. Since Disc healing has changed vastly since last time i had actually played it i thought it best to go with a cookie cutter spec and tweak from there.
My off-spec is holy. Since i have disc as a main my holy spec is set-up for AoE healing, didn't take Imp / Emp renew opting instead for the 3% healing increase from blessed resil and the 12% (to targets under 1/2 health) healing increase of ToF.

Yes, although i really don't use my mic much and am told i'm real quiet when i do talk
Typical Weekly Playtime:
M-F anytime
Weekends- Mostly keep my Saturday and Sunday's free for RL stuff, although i'm available when not out and about

*Pre-WotLK i played alliance side but rerolled horde for WotLK. During this time I had fully cleared every major raid including sunwell as a rogue.
Why are you applying to us:
Your raid times (with the exception of sunday night) match my schedule best, and i know a few people here who i enjoyed playing with from previous guilds.

Since i switched between specs alot in FAIL, i tried to balance my gems / enchants/ gear as best i could to maintain both specs. In disc my SP is a little lower then i'd like, and my haste is alot higher then i'd like. In holy my crit and regen are a little lower then i prefer. Neither spec overly sffers though.

I'm a 38 yr old male, father of one. I've played WoW since release, and although i'm not going to sit and trade mathmatical formulas with anyone i have good knowledge of my class and how it works. Outside of WoW i enjoy golfing and tuning / restoring cars. I'm generally a pretty quiet person, and always willing to learn more or help out where i can.

I ran with Desi back in Illusion and can honestly say he's one of the best priests I've ever run with. He consistently sets a high bar of performance to meet and has a fantastic attitude. The man is insanely good.
He talks so little on vent I'm still not entirely convinced he's not a bot but he's always prepared, knows the fight and is ready to run.

Good healers are always valuable, but, wow, we're pretty top-heavy with healing priests already.

This guy is a monster. If you need a healer take him. Probably the best priest healer I have seen on this server.
Bring the PLAYER, not the CLASS. A true lesson in EPEEN management.

Desi, are you only interested in joining as a 25 man raider or would you be interested in just doing 10's if there's no 25 spot available? Cus I will happily run a 10's team with you and Ballack.

Its a shame, really. If you were, say, a holy paladin, I bet you'd have gotten an invite already. Hmm, lets see if something can be worked out.

Ya, I am sorry we don't really have a spot for another priest healer if you wanna message an officer for a friend rank in order to participate in guild 10 mans, please do so.
