Oshibo - Discipline Priest

My spec is deep discipline 57/14/0. I prefer this spec over holy because I like the preemptive playstyle that comes with it and find it fun to see how much I can lower everybody else's hps. I used to raid as discipline during Ulduar progression until my guild needed me to go shadow. And I fell in love with shadow. I probably have more timed logged as discipline though. I know the spec inside out and upside down.
Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes
Typical Weekly Playtime:
I'm on several hours every day.
Time Zone:
Central.
Previous Guilds:
Heresiarch, Talons of Zephyr - Firetree, Apocalyptic - Exodar.
Previous Raiding Experience:
6/9 ICC
2/5 TOGC
12/12 Ulduar
nothing pre-WOTLK.
Why are you applying to us:
I want to raid. But not as shadow. And i'd very much like to shut Guinthel up.
Link us your Armory:
http://www.wowarmory...renden&n=oshibo
I have a 25 ICC ready healing set (with 2pc t10 shadow!)
Wow web stats reports:
I don't have any recent WoL reports where I was healing.
Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
Everyone. I think.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm 19 and no longer a college student. Other than playing WoW my hobby is the piano and I like exotic women. I enjoy pvp > pve but my raiding battery has been recharged and i'm ready to fight internet monsters again. I always perform at my best (or emo out if i'm not) and will be dependable as far as attendance goes. Lately i've been running around as disc for this and that in ony, 10 TOGC and 10 ICC and it's really grown on me. I think i'll finally set my disease lasers down and lead a new life. I understand that the guild is ok on healers (especially priests) but I hope you guys will give me a shot.

1. I dont shut up ever, except the few attempts last night when Adelyns bubbles > my renew
2. Rohanna will have fun with this one because it's going to be hard denying a true and tested player a raid spot. between me, len(sometimes), nobo, dok, and adelyn we already have plenty of healing priest, considering I occasionally go disc if were missing a Disc priest. maybe ill go shadow?
3. Glyph of renew = no in every single healing priest situation... also, why no glyph of penance? thats a staple. Id drop glyph of flash heal for glyph of prayer of helaing, simply because you can't run out fo mana as disc, and id rather have the healing effect, then the 15% mana cost reduction that will never ever be used (despite the fact that you use flash heal 100X more then PoH generally)
4. you have a choice of using power infusion on me, nuadaa and your self. WHO DO YOU CHOOSE?

That having been said, Oshi, is there a reason you didn't magically turn yourself into a holy paladin or resto shaman before having your healing epiphany? It would have been really convenient.

There weren't any glyphs of Penance on AH last night when I respecced for 10 Ulduar hardmodes. But it's in my pvp tree, so I guess i'm aware of the glyph and it's nbjeknajk awesomeness.

But I FH so much T_T. The only advantage that discipline has as far as mana efficiency is concerned is Rapture. Which is set on a 12 second ICD and I wouldn't say it's as good as Holy Concentration. Then again, holy drops mana bombs so i'm biased.
Last night I was somewhat theorycrafting. Specced and glyphed i've dropped my FH to 521 mana. It's put my FH's healing per mana at 11 whereas GH is 9.5. It's also more effective. 5169.9 HPS as opposed to GH's 4881.9 HPS. This is in my current healing gear which will be altered. a lot. Although it was more or less just a test. I'm going to stick with PoH glyph.

Considering I was just making that up on the spot it worked out rather more smoothly than I expected.

Another (good) holy paladin would be amazing, especially for Dreamwalker. Paladins with healing buffs and no overheals = laughably high HPS. Can't wait to see how much Gunther is going to bitch on that fight.

This was more like saying "the next card will be an 8 of clubs" and then the next card actually is an 8 of clubs. Stupid luck ftw.

You can just picture Shardik slumping in his chair in defeat as soon as you start waxing poetic about the intricacies of paladin theorycrafting.

What is suddenly so great about our raiding now that wasn't less than a month ago?

It would be a change to 25 man raiding from nothing outside 10 man pugs here and there. It's not so suddenly either. I've been contemplating whether I should reapply or not because I had anticipated a couple bitter responses seeing as it hasn't been very long. No loss in trying though.
If your question is purely speculative... i've always enjoyed raiding. Heresiarch especially. The reason I took off in the first place is stated above. My time was being squeezed between pvp and pve. Nowadays i'm finding myself playing CoD4 a lot and looking over my shoulder at Professor attempts and it's a constant pulling urge.
and Inno is back.
