Im a survival hunter 0/17/54 ive been survival since i hit lvl 80 like a month ago because its the best spec for raiding


Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
I have vent and mic

Typical Weekly Playtime:
i can play to 1 am

Time Zone:
-1 hour to time server

Previous Guilds:
Destroyers of worlds

Previous Raiding Experience:
Naxx 10/25 toc 10/(havent down anub on 25) onyx 10/25 voa 10/25 malygos 10/25 os 10/25 icc (havent done fourt boss)

Why are you applying to us:
Because i whant to join guild whit good players that have experience and
that can advice me to be a better hunter

Couple of things wrong with the way you're gemming and enchanting your gear:
As survival you should be gemming every single socket with+20 agility, aside from your +10 stats which should be put in a place that would yield the most benefit, for example a chestpiece with 2 reds,1 yellow that gives a +8 agility bonus. Same can be said about putting a orange agi/crit gem in a socket like that.

No Hodir rep: Considering how easy it is to grindout now, it's an easy upgrade to your stats and shows everyone how much work you've put into your char, or it used to anyways.

Enchants: None: Chest, Gloves. Really Bad: Shoulders, Bracers, 2h weapon and boots.
Alternatives for the bads: Boots,Bracers,2H weapon, Shoulders,Gloves,Chestpiece

Weird stats? Cloak is terrible for any hunter, and especially one with your hit rating. Your first trinket is terrible, Mirror of Truth is 10x better. Second trinket is meh for survival.

Spec: Your survival spec is OK, but you would probably endup pushing a few more points of dps if you were to place the 2 from imp. stings into Resourcefulness.

500 hit rating? wow. I mean, the RNG is random, but that really seems like a lot.

Well i did some changes hodir rep to exalt change some gems i dont change the 10 stats of the belt cause it count as a blue gem
and my meta socket wont work whit out it amm... did the 10 stats to chest.. and i think thats all my dps its very good
can pull in raids like 5k to 6k i think thats good for now Ooh. and i do some changes to get hit rating lower
i know it's still high but im working on it

You made some improvements to your enchants, but your still gemming improperly. In your belt, you should just be completely gemming agility rather than +crit and +10 stats, and put the +10 into your leggins blue slot. You would get the same amount of agility from socket bonuses, but you would gain 40 agility.
Also from what I've seen so far I doubt your doing 5-6k dps, AKA log or it didn't happen.

in toc 25 i do like 5.4k on northrend beast's in voa i can do la 5.8k-5.9k sometimes i get it to 6k if u got a chance to invite me in
any raid u will see im not teling lies :/

Easiest way to prove it is to just take a log, /combatlog is there for a reason.

Well I've always tried to limit hopping around characters since it's not fair to everyone to be changing my mind constantly. I was bored of my shaman after we killed Illidan but I held out until the expansion since resto was so damn useful back then. Though there are a few things in my favor this time around:

  • Decline in output after switching from a geared character - From what I can tell my hunter should still be competitive; won't be topping the charts or anything but top-5 should be within reach. Just replacing my Naxx gun should be enough to beat most people. That and hunters are much stronger as a class so I should be able to outpace my lock by the time we get to Arthas (I'm coming for joo Stab!).
  • Taking gear from other people after the switch - Don't have the dkp to beat Solar, and I'll be taking a huge hit from picking up unwanted pieces anyway (lol +mp5 chest on my lock). Could actually make gear distribution a bit better since we have a ton of casters and not that many hunter/enhancement shaman/rogues.
  • Loss in raid utility / class balance - Easier this time around since I'd still be ranged DPS. Warlocks don't have much utility anyway (lol summoning stone?). Nuadaa has high attendance and his DPS is actually decent nowadays. Beats a lot of our mages, dude just needs to l2drainsoul.
Maybe I will then, any objections Ryan? This week might not be the best time since we're working on new bosses, I could always switch after we kill Putricide for ToC and 10-mans.

I actually dont have that big of an issue with it. Sob has been around for a long time and has always been willing to help us out. I would say start bringing the hunter to ToC raids and getting him geared up via that. Unless he can pump out the DPS your lock can atm, stay on your lock. Let me chat it over with Rystorm and I will hit you up tonight about it.
