*Attendance will be taken every hour after 8pm until the raid is over. It is your responsibility to answer these calls! If you are not sure you should be answering these, answer anyways, the officers will sort it out when they are updating.*

Take from the Loot Policy topic which is appears hardly anyone has read.
I will no longer be adjusting attendance based off this forum for people who 'missed' calls.

If you are going to be on vent then please whisper me or Serror (whoever happens to be doing the NRT that night *and you will know cause you will have already made the first call from being in the raid*) and inform us "Hey I will be in vent if you need me just ask me switch I will not be in game. This way we can add you to the list when we do the call.

If you are going to be on an alt that is not in the guild then please just tell us, and give us your alts name. If you do not want us to have your alts name then message another friend in guild say "Hey I am going to be on this alt just contact me if I am needed." and have said friend do the call-ins for you.
----- that being said if I see someone calling in for someone else I will more than likely ask why, if they say your on an alt you better be on an alt or else I will be removing you for the whole night.

The reason this is changing from way back in the old days when people used to post is because the calls are going out every hourish now (ya sometimes if we are doing a lot of new strats or mid fight they don't go out on the hour) so its not like you can get up to take a shit and miss 2 boss kills anymore.

And if your name isn't being put onto the attendance and you have been calling in (I don't see why this would be happening) but its possible your not doing it right and you need to talk to an officer.

The DKP call-ins aren't moved into attendance in like 2 minutes like OMG this is the longest one put it in...
I move the lists into excel so they are in 4 lists, then I will colour everyone based off how many calls they made, blue people made 4, green 3, yellow 2, and if your left white you only made 1.
Then whoever is green or blue is added to the attendance list.

If you do happen to miss a call and you were AFK for a second you need to message the person who did the call as soon as you get back and tell them "Hey I just got up to pee (or whatever happened) can I be added to that call" You will then be added.

This being said if you are calling in and have been ask not to PLEASE STOP!
But if you don't know if you should no one has said anything to you Please Call-In, You do not need to call in if you are in the raid though.

As well if we are going to be switching instances,
IE: going from Sarth to ICC to ToC. You really should switch to your main character and join the raid until you have been sat again. The guild invites go out and if you do not take this invite we will not go looking for you, THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as a raider to take raid invites, if you are on an alt and you see an invite go out and you don't wanna switch at that moment please whisper the person sending out the guild invite with the word 'invite' your alt will then be in the raid until its decided if you are sitting. If you don't take these invites you will not be able to be added to the DKP call (unless you knew you were going to be sat prior to the invite going out, IE I am not feeling well I am here if you need me though) and you will not be able to do a DKP buy-in.
I'm not dumb, I just choose not to be smart at the moment.

Thanks for the further explanation, and thanks for the work everyone puts in to keep this stuff going smoothly.

One item I think we could be doing better in general - pointing new recruits in the right direction regarding guild rules/expectations. I know a lot of these things are posted around the forums, but if the new folks don't know where to look or that such things even exist, it's not much use. I think that anyone who is tagged/promoted to Probie should be told the basics, to register on the forums, and to request access for Member Chat. They should also be told to look at the strats for ICC on our forums, and maybe some useful threads to get them started.

Not saying this doesn't happen now for some people, but I don't think all the officers do it for every person that comes through. The more inquiring recruits will poke around until they find everything, but some fall into the category of not forum-savvy/not enough free time/lazy and need some guidance.
