Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:

My current mainspec is Balance, offspec being Restoration. I choose to play a boomkin for the simple fact that I enjoy playing one, and generally it's nice to have the 3% hit and 5% crit buff in a raid. My spec is a cookie cutter spec - 58/0/13. I chose not to spend talent points in Dream State, nor Intensity as I often see boomkins do due to the fact that I hardly ever run out of mana, therefore they're not the best talents to pick for maximizing DPS. I also put 2 points into Gale Winds, mostly because there are times in a fight where it's essencial to use AoE, not just for trash mobs (Beginning of Thorim, Kologarn after an arm is destroyed, etc.) I am open to constructive criticism about my spec if anyone notices something that can be improved :)

Ventrilo and do you have a mic:

I do have Ventrilo as well as a mic.

Typical Weekly Playtime:

I do attend high school, so I can be online anywhere from 4pm-11pm on weekdays, any time on the weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible, and can make the required raid times.

Time Zone:

Eastern Standard Time

Previous Guilds:

Horde - Voltaire and Is Malicious. Alliance - High Times and Brand New Day.

Previous Raiding Experience:

I've cleared 10/25 man Naxxramas, 10 man Malygos, 10/25 man Obsidian Sanctum, and 10/25 man ToC. I've completed 12/14 in 10/25 man Ulduar, and have tested out Icecrown Citadel on the PTR.

Why are you applying to us:
I am currently on Alliance, I transfered over shortly after the introduction of faction transfers. A bunch of my horde friends had also transfered to Alliance, in hopes to get away from drama we were experiencing on the Horde. But of course, Alliance just has 10x more drama than Horde, and nearly all the people that transfered with me to Alliance have converted back to Horde, some of them joining Heresiarch. I wanted to come back to the Horde side, but I wanted to look for a guild that I could enjoy being with, as well as get stuff done. I also seek to be in the same guild that my friends are in for I have played with them for a while, and raiding with them once again will bring back old memories.

Link us your Armory:

My link

Wow web stats/World of logs reports:
My link Damage done for Koralon, we also did ToC and Ony that same night.

Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.

I know Selarina, Nuadaa, Korat, Billyy, Linken, Ascha, and Sascha. We're all good friends, I've raided with them all on my old main, Pmanfour. They're all excellent players that I hope to raid with again.

Tell us a bit about yourself:

My name is Patrick, and I'm a lvl 80 Night Elf druid(WoW commercials :D ). I'm 16 years old, B+ student, overachiever, and love to play WoW on my free time. I've been playing this game and on Drenden for at least 2 years+. I play the guitar, and a big fan of Guitar Hero/Rockband. I'm half puerto rican, so I can speak Spanish, and know a little French and German here and there. All in all, I'm a pretty straightforward guy who likes to have some fun and meet new people.

For being an overachiever you don't have many achievements...

I'm an overachiever in terms of completing tasks when they're given to me, ex: You tell me to do something, I'll do whatever it takes to achieve that and more. The reason she doesn't have many achievements is because I had gotten her to 80 a few months back, sometime before the summer. My old main's name is Liliith now, here's a link to her achievements - http://www.wowarmory...n=Brand+New+Day

That's a very cut and dry way of looking at it

Over all pman here is amazing, Hes a great listener, He knows how to adjust to a raid environment to better suit what is needed to kill an encounter, hes great to talk, Ive been raiding with him since naxx. He knows how to take criticism when needed, and can give his all and best to better the raid. =]

Sorry but that's a bit too fluffy for me. You can say that generically about anybody. Sounds like a chick on myspace "I HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR, I'M SARCASTIC, I LIEK HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDZ LOLZ"

Don't know that much about boomkin so I can't break it down completely, but thanks to Shifa for actually providing a log. (All fights are referring to the last attempt from WoL unless noted otherwise)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jaraxxus - You barely touched the Mistress. It seems like the guild's strat centers on melee doing most of the damage (top 5 on damage to the Mistress are melee) but your 804 damage compared to Darthamant's 171,700 could be a flag that you don't like to switch targets and worry just about the deeps.

Champions - Good use of survival cooldowns (Barkskin 4x, Nature's Grasp 3x).

Twin Val'kyr - You didn't switch to lightbane and absolutely killed your dps (<2k for about 45 seconds). You weren't healing during this time, but still attacking darkbane. Can you explain this please? Your DPS time was also poor for the fight.

Anub - DPS time low again. Seems like you're not killing adds during Anub burrows as much as you should. DPS during bloodlust was poor, actually went down from before the bloodlust (you switched targets, but still seems low).

Mimiron - Died after lock tank died. No healthstone or barkskin.

Vezax - Good uptime on black cloud, but you also ate a shadow crash. You were also standing in green clouds; maybe your guild does it differently but we only have healers stand in green. And it looks like standing in green contributed to your death on the 2nd to last Vezax kill. Searing Flames + Mark of the Faceless went out after you took damage from standing in green - you could've survived the 14k damage if you were at full health (or popped a healthstone).

Hodir - DPS was mediocre considering you had 4 storm powers. Your strat favored melee, but you still should've done better. Also ate an icicle. Damage to Flash Freeze was mediocre as well.

Yogg - What the heck was happening on Yogg? Both your DPS and DPS time are horrible. Looks like you go through stretches where you're not doing anything.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From what I can tell he's a notch or two below Bearforceone but better than Beefburrito. Would put in "ok" category. Concerned a bit about age. Curious why he's leaving his current guild.

He is probably coming over to play with Linken, Billyy, and Nuadaa... Brand New Day is the Alliance guild both Linken and Billyy came from.

Was referring more to the "10x drama" part.

Thank you Sobeyet for putting the time and effort into your post regarding the combat log I linked, I greatly appreciate it. To answer your question about the "10x more drama" part in the application- I witnessed at least 3 guilds break up, guild members kicked for the most ridiculous, and more while playing the Alliance. The years that I've played on the Horde, there was never that much drama, at least for the time that I played. Voltaire was the only guild that I was in where it really crumbled and lost a lot of its good players. Also...have you ever sat and read what goes on in trade chat on the Alliance? It'll drive you up a wall, the immaturity that goes on during the day is incredible. Almost everyday it was the same thing, people linking something and putting the word anal in front of it. People saying the last one to link this item wins x amount of gold. Could you see why I want to transfer back to Horde? :P

As far as the combat log goes, it is true that I was focused on being top on the DPS charts for some fights. Other fights you were right, my guild utilizes melee DPS for fights such as Hodir or assign most of the melee DPS to take down the Mistresses of Pain. Most of those were mistakes that don't occur often when we kill those bosses. Yogg is a differen't case, we're 12/14 in Ulduar for 25 man. Some people have killed Yogg on 10 man, but for the most part the majority of us are still getting used to the fight. I apologize if it seemed like I was doing something far fetched, I'm sure others were still learning the fight. Each day is a new opportunity to improve, so I'm sure in no time mistakes like these are bound to not happen in the future.

I've actually been told I'm more mature than an average 16 year old. People don't even believe me when I tell them my age, they think I'm in my twenties. Ask Nuadaa(when he's not talking about thigh sex), him and I have talked on vent before.

Well, however the app turns out, I'll note that you do seem fairly mature for a teen, and I think you'd be really happy with being Horde. Just the other day in /Trade they were discussing how Nietzche's concept of the Superman was in some ways a response to Voltaire's writings on the conceptual necessity of God. And don't even get me started on Barren's chat.

Thigh sex. LOL.

Reasonable explanations for the points I brought up. I think he does enough damage to warrant a trial, especially if he can show up for Thu/Sun raids. Just as long as he understands he may not get in every raid right off the bat.

I understand if I was to not get invited to every raid right off the bat, I never expected that at all. Thursday and Sundays are raiding days that I could make.

Well, obviously, since that title already went to Shifa.

Oh, I'm sorry. Sobe's not actually young anymore. Welcome to being old.
