Shizzlle Resto Shammy....Application

Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
I'm a Resto 0/16/55 Tauren Shaman. I chose a Resto Shammy cause I see them for more of a Raid Healer, and That is what I enjoy the most. I Like to stay active While healing, That is one reason Why I didn't choose some of my Talents that others may have. I chose to use Blessing of the Eternals over my Healing Grace option, I found that while healing not ever player wears plate gear

..so when they get hit I dont have Time to Cast that Healing Wave...I would much rather cast a riptide followed by a Lesser Healing wave this way i get Healz to my buddy faster and the combo also increases my Proc's. I feel this is benificial to not only myself but my buddy as well. Ive been this spec for about a yr.

I can raid everyday from 8P.M. E.S.T to 12A.M. E.S.T.

2. Our raids posted to start at 7:45pm
3. You said you have done 10 man Ulduar Mim... but your achievements state you never killed him, mistype on Thorim maybe?
4. No guild is drama free.... just an FYI
5. I wouldn't go announcing as a health food manager you smoke and drink..... just seems umm weird.

Haven't healed as a resto shaman since bc, so wont comment on gem/gear/enchant choices off of personal experience, but just from comparing to other resto shamans, I am wondering why your gemming more towards SP/mp5 in alot of slots. Rather than int in all and and one sp/mp5 gem to makeup for your meta(which should be switched toInsightful Earthsiege, and if fitting put any more gems such as sp/int and sp/mp5 to makeup for useful socket bonuses.
Also noticed you haven't started the hodir rep grind, which is just a simple way to gauge effort one puts into their character. Along with the blue quality leg enchant paired with 10 mp5 rather than +10 stats chest enchant.

The Binding Stone... I would be really interested in seeing how you use that within a rotation because in my opinion its a terrible trinket and the badge vendor one or the one outta ToC regular would be better.... which goes to your Naxx trinket... I would replace it with one of these two trinkets Period.

Your boot enchant isn't terrible but the +hit +crit enchant is just as useful and less expensive, so maybe your next pair of boots switch that up

If you need Mp5 I would go with the wyrmcrest helm enchant rather than the Kirin'tor

As solar said Insightful Earthsiege is a much better meta and only requires a single purple gem, so you could gem int or haste rather than sp/mp5 because you should be getting lots of sp off your gear and mp5 just isn't that could in a 25 man raid setting you get more mana back from int.

Again your chest enchant is just bad... dunno what to say even +8 stats would be better if you can't afford +10

Leg enchant should be sp/stam not sp/spirit bad choice

You have a couple BoE epics ... which is icky but maybe can't be helped

Bracers and boots have spirit.... eww spirit

Hodir rep is nice.... too

I'm not dumb, I just choose not to be smart at the moment.

The binding Stone Keeps gives me at a much higher Mp5 Rate, as well the Prot 66 sp stack(Which is nice when you Chain Heal)

My bracers, boots and BOEs is cause i have bad luck

I know that some of my gems are wrong, but when I found out I didnt have the coin to replace them

Probable a little drunk when I did the Chest enchant

Rep Questing is goin to Make me go Postal

And Just Because I work at a Food Health Store Don't mean I cant do what the Hell I want to

If you don't feel like doing dailies buy relics. If you have no gold then I'm concerned you won't have gold for repairs and consumables.

I have The Gold(my Sugarmomma)....Plus when you have no guild you really dont pug into Hard mode Bosses....If I were to get into A guild that ran Hard mode bosses, then I would take the Advice of the Shammy Leader you guys/gals have( Which I am sure you have class leaders) and make the appropriate changes...I am not against any suggestions that are made....I just havent done it cause their is no real reason to At the moment

I show effort When I heal...you can be the best geared/spec/gem person on the server and still suck...I know how to play and what my toon is about and how to use it...I( dont ever get complaints when I heal....and that is all that I want is a Chance to Show that I know what I can DO....I dont think that runnin Mind numbing Quest shows effort(since you can buy them as someone above pointed out)....Being able to Heal and knowing what to do and how to do it Shows the effort

Shizz, I'd suggest finding a way to get into a 10-man or at least a heroic with someone from the guild to show what you can do before things get worse.

Do you have proper enchants, are you enchanted properly?
Do you know how to heal?
Above are just examples of things that people have pointed out

I'd need a little more than a heroic. My paladin heals heroics with 12k mana and 900 spell power.

(Note: Not because I'm that good, mostly because joe puggasaur retardedly outgears heroics by that much)
