Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
For my holy spec I am 14/57/0. I chose this spec because I took the best things the holy tree has to offer such as Guardian Spirit, Circle of Healing, Spirit of Redemption, etc. I placed 17 talent points into the discipline tree for things such as Meditation, Inner Focus, and Improved Inner Fire.

Typical Weekly Playtime:
I'm fairly open to play on Mon-Fri from about 4 pm to 11 pm. I don't have much time on weekends to play since I work all day.

Time Zone:
EST (Server Time)

Previous Guilds:
Was in Malediction in BC, and have been in Nephilim for WotLK

Previous Raiding Experience:
Vanilla: MC, BWL, AQ20, ZG, AQ40, Parts of Naxx
BC: Kara, Gruul, Mag, TK, SSC, MH, BT (up to Gurtrogg)
WotLK: VoA 10/25, Naxx 10/25, Maly 10/25, OS 10/25,
Uld 10 (Got all guardians but Mimiron), Uld 25 (Got Hodir and Freya, but couldn't get Mimiron and Thorim)
ToC 10/25

Why are you applying to us:
I've played with many different people from Heresiarch and have nothing but good words to say about them. I'm interested in not only entering a new raid instance, but getting to the end of it where many other guilds can't reach. I am also an achievement whore and would LOVE to do hard modes. :D

Unfortunately I haven't raided in about a month so many of the WWS reports have expired. But I do guarantee that I was in the top two in overall healing for every raid in Nephilim.

You invented 3 points of your own?

Assuming you meant to say 14 and not 17, your spec still confuses me quite a bit. My personal concerns:

1) No inspiration
2) Can you really justify a single point in Healing Focus? I consider it a all-or-nothing thing.
3) I have not seen a good argument for Body and Soul over some of the other talents you choose. This is not to indicate I feel Body and Soul is a bad choice, it is just to say that nobody has proven to me that it is good. Can you be the person to justify taking it to me?
4) Can you explain your justification for taking Holy Reach? Again, this is a situation where I don't necessarily think it's bad, I just want you to prove to me it's good and that you have a reason for picking it.

I have more points, but I will not bombard you right now.

Spec needs work....You don't take divine fury. Fine, you don't like greater heal, but then why bother with improved healing and empowered healing? Drop 3 from improved healing and put into inspiration.

1/2 surge of light. This NEEDS to be 2/2.

Body and soul can be useful... not my kinda thing tho. I would suggest this spec for an non greater heal anchored play style: http://www.wowhead.c...ZfvzcbMqihhcuAo

The four points in spell warding are filler... toss em into divine fury if you so prefer.

Invest in epic gems, and get rid of any gems that contain mp5.

Apart from the priest theorycraft battle that could begin ITT.... looks like you know peoplez

I don't see much point in healing focus, i guess you're right though... getting just 1 point is kind of wtf. Then again, no point in getting it maxed since it's a poop talent. Inspiration doesn't stack with another priest's so i'm guessing that's why he doesn't have it.

I have my own opinions on body and soul and holy reach but I guess his are more important at the moment :P

Not sure what you mean at first, but I think I originally posted it as 14/57/0

1) I agree, I do need 3 points into this talent
2) Well since I didn't pick up Inspiration, I needed another point to move down a tier.
3) I agree, I took it for the sake of trying it out. Although, being able to also cleanse poisons is nice, but I'm sure that other classes can take care of it in a raid.
4) Yeah these are a waste and I have no idea why I picked 'em up.

Overall, yeah I need to respec now that I look back at my spec, lol. I believe priests got a free respec at one point and I simply put in points without much care. I'll definetly get on it and fix my spec.

Hmm I'm not sure you looked at my spec correctly. I do have 5/5 in Divine Fury as I do like casting Greater Heals. Yes the Surge of Light was just used for a filler to move down the tier, will fix my spec asap. And I'll fill it all up with epic gems soon.

Again as before, I used it as a filler to move on to the next tier. I'll be fixing my spec asap.

Haven't actually raided with Croco in ages, but I've also known him for ages. Had some attendance issues way back when, but I think he had a work conflict which it sounds like has cleared up. Productive healer and enthusiastic. Used to be a decent SP as well as I recall.

I'm curious about your choice of Desperate Prayer and Healing Prayers over Empowered Renew. Want to talk about that one

@Oshibo: You really shouldn't answer those questions for the applicant. Generally they are not for "here's what you're doing wrong" but are instead to determine if the applicant can simply justify why choices were made. Simply put, they are questions to see if the applicant can think, or just played whack-a-mole with the talent sheet or copied someone else.

Well as holy spec my main spells are Flash Heal, Prayer of Healing, and Greater Heal/POM. I don't see much use of renew in a 25 man where many people are getting hit constantly and where the use of quick or big heals are necessary.
As for Desperate Prayer, it's simply for an emergency heal if I'm getting low on heal with not enough time to cast. And for Healing Prayers, I chose this to conserve mana for Prayer of Healing which is one of my main spells
