I'm always a bit wary of they young'uns but if he can mash buttons well enough then /shrug. My impression is that he knows next to nothing about the nuances of the class; not sure how able and willing he is to pick it up quickly. With the number of recruits we have atm (lack of hunters notwithstanding) I'm not sure if it's in our best interest to take on too many "projects."

I have no idea how well he knows the mechanics of the hunter class, and he's pretty young, but I know that's been been dedicated and sincere in working on the advice I gave him weeks ago, and after running a couple 10-mans with him in the last week, I can attest to Bear's comment that he can do some solid damage.

Start with the fundamentals, plenty of information to to absorb out there.

I'd focus on learning the spec/rotation first - what abilities and talents you have in your arsenal, basic rotation, why one ability is better in a situation than another.
Then I'd worry about proper gearing, starting with gems and enchants. FYI, if you don't have money for basic gems and enchants, you probably won't be able to afford raiding on wipe nights.
Then there's pet management. This is a neverending process, but you want to be at a basic level of competence before being thrown into the really hard fights. (tldr - don't leave the pet standing in fire)
Then boss fights. Some guilds have tweaks to the general strat, but it's good to know the basic abilities so you're not going in blind.
After that you get into more of the advanced theorycrafting, but it's not a requirement to be a competent player. If you know the stuff above and you can faceroll buttons you'll be better off than most people.
Also, next time you run something (even a 5-man, 10-man would be fine, 25 ideal) take a combatlog and post it here. Google WWS or World of Logs and you should be able to figure it out.
I'm leaving things kind of open ended, but it's partly because I want to see how well you can learn on your own and partly because I'm lazy.

Sure, good luck to ya. Also no need for the Sir/Ma'am business (inb4SobeOld jokes), I might flex epeen about being better than people at WoW but we're all the same watery-flesh sacks in the grand scheme of things.
Being nervous or intimidated won't help you perform; learning to play better shouldn't feel like work. That's one of my concerns about the age thing - we can be pretty blunt with the critcism around here. Good to see that you've gotten 2 people to say you do decent dps though.

My Apologies I Am Just Naturally Polite and Nice. Thank You For The Help Tho. And I Hope If I Get Accepted I Won't Let Y'all Down.

IF you click, or don't use many binds try getting an addon called Opie, and bind your Misdirect to right click on target(what I use). Also start using basic rotation with binds, since binding all your abilities at once can be a handful to get used to.
edit: looked at armory, you should be gemming completely into agility and put a +10 stats gem to make up for your Meta in whatever would yield the best bonus (8 agility+). Only time I, would gem anything other than +20/16 would be if the bonus is +8 agility, which would be a agility/crit or agi/hit gem anyways. For your boots, you want either +16 agility or tuskars vitality (15 stam/minor runspeed). Same with gems agility is the key stat to stack when it comes to any enchant really, as long as the equiveleant in other stats isn't to drastic of a change. Reason I say tuskar's vitality, is since 8% speed increase is amazing in all of the toc fights, and the majority from Ulduar. As Sobey said you spend time running around having to manage your pet and attacking at same time, which means the faster you can get somewhere and stop to cast another steady shot, the more damage you will do. You also want to start working on sons of hodir rep, not a huge upgrade in dps in the sense of comparing it to other things, but it shows effort put into your character. For spec, you could try a spec something like mineArmory and tweak it around with your gear on Zeherah's Hunter Dps Analyzer Your glyphs seems good, and other than the lack of enchants and sub-optimal raiding professions there's not much else to say
