Also when you think of stealing loots ... consider that the restoration doesn't just affect your account but the person whos account it was transferred to as well.
I'm not dumb, I just choose not to be smart at the moment.

I my randomly ask myself questions bearforce, and I even sometimes answer them

but I'm pretty sure I'd never ask myself to get hacked.

And it's been five or six years since i had any issues with any unauthorized applications or malware being on my computer. The Only problems IE has, are its occasional and random crashes, but every single web browser i've ever used, including firefox, has these.

I sometimes wonder if all you firefox fanboys don't just use firefox because it's what all the 'clever' computer users supposedly do, without actually having any evidence to back up your claims of fail on the part of Internet explorer. I've never once had any body who advocates firefox show me hard proof of how bad Internet explorer is vs. how good firefox is, and recently after using firefox for a few weeks, all the websites with extensive java programing suddenly began malfunctioning on firefox and worked fine on Internet explorer so I switched back, satisfied that not all web browsers are created equal, but fully aware that they are all capable of catastrophic failure and there is no such thing as a perfect program.

Hey, I hate Firefox. That being said, I also think IE is horrible. I do in fact believe the Firefox worshiping is somewhat of a cult.

Firefox has a plugin that disables flash applications unless you activate them. There's another one that disables javascript unless explicitly activated for a site, and will even let you tell a page that you'll let it run scripts from site X but not site Y.

Why is this important? Those are the vectors for most of the web-based exploits out there. This means that the next time that MMO Champion gets their ad server's feeder hacked, you don't care because you don't allow javascript from an ad site to run.

Firefox is also not directly tied into the Windows rendering engine, so bugs there do not tend to get exploited automatically by Firefox.

Inno's post

We already had this discussion, where I think I called you stupid and we didn't talk to eachother for like three days.

That being said, the reason Firefox is better than IE are as follows:

Adblock- Removes roughly 75% of ads across the internet. Anything that it doesn't catch, you right click on and pick adblock annnnndd it's gone. Also handy for forums where people will spontaneously imglink goatse. You can use adblock to not load any images with a certain URL, including the use of wildcards.

Noscript- What len said. Malicious code is like the Vietcong, just sitting in the grass waiting to jump out and stab you if you even enter the website. Drive-by downloading is a really common way of getting malware onto a PC and without a solid block against it there's really nothing you can do.

I started using Chrome, it's fast, but it doesn't have a good adblock or noscript, so I switched back.

As for IE, most of the IE is shit stems from IE6, which still holds roughly 25% of the browser market. It's complete and utter shit, and if you are using it, you should be shot without trial. It doesn't support basically any new developments in the world of HTML/CSS. It still has security holes in it, which have been fixed in 7 and 8, but most people using it are computer-inept (They don't know to upgrade), stupid (same reason), or businesses (upgrading to new things can cause problems, they don't like that) so they won't upgrade.

I stay away from IE like the plague, but I think you're using 7 (Or maybe 8, if you've kept windows update on.)

Edit: But really, if you ARE using IE6, upgrade IMMEDIATELY. The internet will thank you and I won't have to come to your house with a rifle.\
Edit2: I just noticed on the browser numbers I looked at, Firefox has the newer version with a higher market share than an older version, IE is the other way IE goes 6->7->8, firefox is 3.5->3.0

I used no script for a while there, and it pissed me off to no ends, always having to disable it to click on links or play gifs or something... How important is it to have noscript while running FF?
