H Elemental Shaman

I am elemental and healing. I am above average in both. I was the "One to beat." in Is Malicious. In the guilds I ran with I was usually on top. My top performance was in Hodir when I did 10000 dps, after pulling off the tank during a flash freeze I had to get in melee range for. My best healing performance was 4k HPS and 20% overheals. I have less experience as a healer but it is where I started out. My guild needed me as a healer but my heart is in DPS. I had to switch to healing and my hunter became neglected. My shaman is now my main. I chose my spec myself, after inspecting the top elemental shaman on the server, I had to move two points around. Those two points made sense since they increased my dps. I don't know any secrets, I just remain focused and try not to mess up the rotation.
Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes
Typical Weekly Playtime:
I can change my schedule to raid. Fridays don't work well since I play football. (Only for 3 weeks 5-7 if we make playoffs.)
Time Zone:
EST.
Previous Guilds:
Is Malicious. Imploded, is trying to get back together, but I don't know if I am going back.
Previous Raiding Experience:
All WoTLK instances so far minus 25 watchers and 25 ToC.
Why are you applying to us:
I believe that I have the potential to be the best. I am tired of not having that potential tapped (or exploited) to its fullest.
Link us your Armory:

Wow web stats reports:
Is Malicious did not run this.
Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
None really, Nuadaa is probably the person I know the most but I don't think he would be able to tell you who I am.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
Someone who is tired of not being able to down things when I am pulling my own weight. I am driven, an honors student, a varsity football player, and just happen to play WoW in my free time.

As for how we treat others, have you read the other recruiting threads to get a feel for how we treat applicants? There have been quite a few just in the last week or so (for reasons you can probably guess). If not, then you haven't done a very good job of doing your homework.

I talked to forte, he seemed to think you have a ego like the rest of us do, given your application's tone.
you do come off like a shit eating dickhead, but I'd be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
we can be pretty rude to new applicants, i'm generally not one of them that is a cunt to new applicants, but when i saw your app it just screamed graknal to me, I raided with the guy for six months and that was a year ago and if I had to do it again it would still be to soon.
we have three raiding elemental shaman atm so geting a spot might be tough,
It's not necessarily that i'd turn you down completely on basis of your attitude and personality because i'm always willing to give some one a chance to prove they're a nice person(i'm a dumb bitch when it comes to second chances, I give them to every one, even people who don't necessarily deserve them)
I am not an officer, but I think we may be full of elemental shaman right now. With Resto shaman wanting our gear now more than ever, and having 3 already, the split is kind of steep. Thanks for your interest at least. In the future, using a little humbleness in your app might make the difference(Again, not as a deciding factor here, but just a general tip on interpersonal interaction)

I tend to agree on the attitude part; to me it seems more confident than arrogant. Whether he actually performs as well as he talks is another matter. The armory link doesn't seem to work and I'm too drunk to make sense of it atm, so someone else go nuts.

He has seen all content (minus hard modes) that we have.
He hasnt completed ToC 25 man, or Ulduar 25 but has completed them both on 10 man.
His spec is good, but his major glyph choices are interesting and I wouldn't mind hearing the theory behind them.
I also have to agree with sobe, I haven't talked to him so I know nothing outside this thread he doesn't come off as much more than confident, maybe I am missing something.
But I cannot say wether we need another elemental shaman either.

Seems like he thinks Crit is more important than haste, he seems to have an aweful lot of crit and a slim amount of haste. Glyph of flame tongue would also support this theory. Itemization wise, haste is much more important than crit, haste is second only to spell power(Or hit rating if you are under cap)
he's also got 400-450 hit rating(I checked last night and he had like 407, and this morning he had like 453) which is way to god damn much hit rating, at that point you want to start taking items with spirit and mp5 that -dont- have hit rating(haste instead would be preferable but even more crit would be better than all that hit, so long as he doesn't sacrifice to much spell power in the switch)
Forte informed me he's a skilled player, his gear checks out, his raiding philosophy checks out. his experiance checks out.
I'd be eager to see more proof of his ability, but he's got my check, Ultimately up to the officers if we need another elemental shaman or not. I do not think we do, but if he helps us raid 4 nights a week with 25 poeple, then more them merrier.

I doubt that's going to be what keeps you from getting into the guild so I wouldn't inconvenience yourself too much. If anything it's the number of shaman/casters. But I'd also bet good money a couple of the new recruits end up flaking out / not performing up to par, so who knows what'll happen in the future.
