Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec:
Been prot since the day I hit 80 on my pally about a year ago, I am a fast learner when it comes to raids as far as that goes.

Ventrilo and do you have a mic:

Yes and Yes

Typical Weekly Playtime:
Time shouldn't be a problem for raiding.

Time Zone:
MST

Previous Guilds:
BBB
Fist of Fate

Previous Raiding Experience:
Done most of the raids except the last three bosses in Ulduar. Not including Pre-WotLK

Why are you applying to us:
I'm looking for a good raiding guild along with great players to raid with and get to know. Like to use my talents of a prot pally to help in anyways I can.

Link us your Armory:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...mp;n=Metallican

Wow web stats reports:
Not sure where to get ahold of that.

Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
Other then a few instances with Nuadaa thats about it.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
Well I'm 18 live in Arizona have to say hottest place on earth lol. Big into Paintball when ever I can get out to play a few rounds I do so. Other then that pretty simple.

Two prot specs is interesting and makes you a little hard to gauge as Prot/Ret as opposed to merely being Prot. The one with Impr HoJ puzzles me a bit. Is it for PvP? The other spec isn't EJ cookie cutter, but its has fewer "wasted" points (yea for HotC) which you basically put into Divinity. Its not the spec I'd use, but its an acceptable one.

Gear, rep, professions, etc all suggest you know what you're doing and that you're fond of socket bonuses. That's a lot of threat gemming. Do you have issues with threat in raids? Perhaps the most expertise I've seen on a paladin tank who wasn't just trying to stack it as an experiment, which I don't really object to as its defensive value for prot pallies is a good bit better than most folks realize, even after dodge cap.

You might recall that I ran VoA with you a week or so ago. It went reasonably well, but your demeanor during the experience suggests that you might be a bit... focused? Intractable? Which may not particularly be a fit.

The biggest problem you're likely to face is that we're in reasonably good shape on tanks AFAIK, and I dunno if there's room for another.

To be honest Im not getting a thing done in my guild to start with so not a big problem, and I have two prot specs because of ToC Faction Champs I respect for that fight if the rogue shows up or if I need to have a lower CD on my Stuns.

I have done quite a few raids/heroics with this guy. As I recall he did really well.

Sorry skimmed the post before hand, as far as threat once I have the mod as long as another person doesn't taunt it should be fine since, they reduced the threat by 10% i added points in Holy for the extra dmg with cur. seal. For VoA I hardly ever wipe I usally always have to pug when it comes to raids but I like to get to the point and take down what ever is in front of me as soon as I can with the least amount of problems. I do like the sockets btw sorry just something I do. Quick learner thats for sure I learn better from doing something other then just watching a video on tankspot though I do still watch them.

Perhaps, but its worth remembering that our tolerance for asshattery is kinda proportional to how useful and/or entertaining you are overall (no sense feeding egos by pointing anyone out), and isn't very high for probies.
