/combatlog is your friend.

Side rant: Let's not keep encouraging people for recount screenshots. Especially on training dummies. It's serviceable for "I can mash buttons" but worthless for gauging raid aptitude. Screenshots should be the last resort for people that can't raid for whatever reason. Though one side benefit is that it's easy to see the clickers and their hideous UIs.

So what's going on with this guy? even though I didn't like his attitude at first, he is showing much improvement over the last week.

He's growing on me. I was put off by the initial attitude, but he seems to have realized that was a mistake and changed his tone. He's clearly shown that he's looking to improve his character on his own, instead of just hoping to be handed gear.

Not knowing anything about rogues, I cannot evaluate his skill, or lack thereof.

Royallen, by the way, if you are doing PuG raids, by all means do a /combatlog and get a WWS posted of the fight. It's just about the best way that we could see how well you know how to play your class.
