Okay, we've worked out the DKP buy-in system. DKP is going to have a value of 7 gold. This is supported by Tehbullzor's post explaining the material costs of flasks here.

This is a list of DKP rates for each item:

Lichbloom: 5 DKP per stack, 1 DKP for 5.

Icethorn: 2.5 DKP per stack, .5 DKP for 5.

Adder's Tongue: 3 DKP per stack.

Frost Lotus: 3 DKP each.

Infinite Dust: 6 DKP per stack.

Greater Cosmic Essence: 1.5 DKP each.

Dream Shard: 14 DKP per 10, 1 DKP each.

Fish Feast: 11 DKP per 10.

Gems: 15 DKP each.

Flasks: 11 DKP per 5.

Raiders are eligible to buy DKP equal to half of their missed DKP. Assuming you have a decent overall attendance, and have a fair reason for not being there and an officer was informed you would not be able to make the raid. *some amounts of the raid will not be able to be bought in, such as the special bonus DKP given out for completing that nights goals, or extra given for people showing up nights with super low attendance. Rohanna will be able to inform you of this if you ask prior to buy-in*

Limits on How Far Back
1) You must have been in the guild (meaning you cannot buy back before your name existed on the DKP site)
2) You can buy back up to 20 days of the date you missed (Unless the officers are aware that you will be infact gone more than 20 days at which point your buy-in date will be discussed)

To buy DKP,send an in-game mail to Rohanna describing how much DKP you are buying and the date of the raid(or raids) from which you are buying the DKP, and attach the items to which you are buying in. If donating an odd number, donating 3g 50s to the guild bank will buy the .5 DKP needed to round up to the next highest whole number; otherwise, the .5 dkp will be rounded down.

Woo. You mean I can earn dkp for all those feasts instead of just handing 'em out myself? As soon as I get back on Sun, feasts inc.

Since that got updated, it might be worth re-evaluating the pricing schedule. Lichbloom, for example, is a lot cheaper now than it used to be. Fish feasts, on the other hand, are at least 10g and really more like 12 to 14g.

Heck, the only reason I stopped donating lichbloom and icethorn was because the gb was stuffed, not because I was running low, didn't need the dkp, or viewed it as a bad exchange.

All the prices have been re-evaluatated lichbloom and icethorn have only moves by 10s either way so they are staying the same for the meantime.

Really? Nothing changed? I'm pretty surprised. I check herb prices and frequently buy them for alchemy use. I'm willing to wait a day or two for pricing, but no longer, and I havnt paid over 20g/stack (for lichbloom and icethorn, can't speak for the rest) in months.

On the other hand, I find fishing meditative and often sell fish or feasts. The fish typically sell for at least 2g each, especially the sculpin, though nettlefish are occasionally as low as 1g (depends on fishing daily). I can always get at least 10g for feasts (the spice are bascally free. I got hundreds of cooking awards across various characters). I've literally never seen feasts as low as 5g though I've often gotten 12g or occasionally more.
Even allowing for your pricing, its odd that 28g of lichbloom is worth 4 dkp while 25g in fishfeasts is worth 1. I'll supply 'em either way, just surprising.

Flasks have always been "take whatever you need, but preferably try to replace them somehow such as with mats because they don't come from thin air"

We posted mats because that way we can make what flasks are needed at the time.
If you do donate flasks (ONLY IF THEY ARE NEEDED, will you get DKP for them) and it will be based off the mats needed to make them.

Edit:
If you were smart you could have figured this out on your own all those mats are used to make flasks... but there will not be a post to say how much each flasks is worth.

That doesn't take away from the fact all the mats above are used in flasks.
IE:
We are outta flask of the frost wyrm you whisper Shardik, Serror, Rohanna saying
"Hey we are outta said flask if I deposit 20 can I get DKP back for said raid I missed"
the answer will be yes
Mats for frost wyrm (only need mats for 10 creations to get 20)
10 x frost lotus
50 x lichbloom
50 x ice thorn
Obviously if you can calculate you can get the DKP for these mats, assuming you missed enough raids to buy in that much.
Obviously gold clover aren't worth any so if you put in End Rage you get DKP for your Frost Lotus and your Lichbloom...

Updated for amount you can buy-in per raid.
Some raids you cannot buy-in a half anymore, if the raid was awarded 10DKP for finishing a nightly goal, or the night had low attendance so the raid was given bonus. These will not be made adjustments anymore as it spams the adjustment log and the adjustments have to taken out by hand for decay, they will be added onto the raid amount.

However they will also be put in the night of the raid, so if we have a full raid week:
Tuesday - normal
Wednesday - goal accomplished
Thursday - normal
Sunday - normal

the DKP log will show

Tuesday - 0
Wednesday - 10
Thursday - 0
Sunday - 0

Until the raid values are added Monday morning (Sunday night if I am off Monday).

New Limit on how far back you can buy-in to encourage buy-ins weekly as you missed the raids. And make it so that you cannot hoard your buy-ins for items you want so you can surpass Bob the day before the raid we are doing the boss you want loot off.

DKP Buy-ins will now be put into the system on Sunday/Mondays and you cannot add a buy-in during the week.
If you put in a late buy-in I will hold the information and add the buy-in the following Sunday/Monday.

Bumping I would like people to mail me their buy-ins now instead of putting them in the bank... after having people do that its soo much easier than trying to look through the logs to find out who put what in, especially if Ryan went shopping for us.
