Discuss your talents and tell us how long you have been this particular spec (ie: mostly played holy, just went shadow 2 weeks ago):
My current build is 0/3/58 destruction spec and I would guess that I would use this spec until level 80 and for raiding. I have been in this spec for the past few weeks. The reason I like this spec is that it gives me Improved/Empowered Imp so that I can tank mobs myself while nuking them down with Chaotic Bolt. When I reach level 80, I will take the 5 points from Aftermath (2), Pyroclasm (2) and Shadowburn (1) into either Improved Corruption or Improved Soul Leech, depends on encounters.
My usual spell rotation in raids/instances are: CoA/CoD/CoE(depends on encounters and raid make-up)Corruption(withGlyph)->Immolate->ChaoticBolt->Incinerate->…->Conflagrate->Soul Firex3->Reapply
I am still debating if I should just skip Soul Fire after Conflagrate. However, mathematically it seems that 2.8 sec SF gives more dps, not to mention Critical bonus. I think the 0/21/50 destruction spec with Demonic Sacrifice may also be viable for raiding at level 80. This seems to be more depended on gears. Therefore, I am still researching which choice will be the best for maximizing total damage.
Furthermore, I love affliction spec equally as destruction. The new affliction tree gives so many juicy spell bonus talents and I would say it is definitely raiding spec to go for warlocks. However, since, by far, half of the affliction locks’ damage comes from shadow bolts, there is a trade-off between maximizing DoT and max total damage.
Also, if the raid is made up most by casters, I would switch to Demon spec for Demonic Pact (10% spell bonus to raid).
To sum up, I love destruction spec the most because of its viability in both raiding and soloing. However, depends on guild’s need, specific encounter and raid make-up, I will gladly switch spec to meet guild’s demand.

Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
Yes, I have vent and Yes, I have a microphone. I may not be able to speak on vent a lot because I often play WoW in my office :X.

Typical Weekly Playtime:
Monday – Friday: 7:00pm -12:00am EST
Saturday: 8:00pm -11:00pm EST.
Time Zone:
EST time zone.

Previous Guilds:
Drenden: Lords of the Underverse, Brothers of Honor, Bonzos Brass Buttoneers, Voltaire(current).
I like people in those guilds and they are all great in certain respects. Sometimes, I quit guild because some of my in-game friends quit game or guild become less active. I really want to thanks them for sharing enjoyable playing experiences with me.

Previous Raiding Experience:
Karazhan: 13/13
Gruul’s Lair: 2/2
Magtheridon’s Lair: 1/1
SSC: trash mobs and Lurker
For Gruul, I think there is something that most of sources didn’t mention or my previous raiding leader didn’t pay attention. There are severl “hiding places” alone the wall of Gruul’ room. If player was able to be placed his/herself there, he/she won’t be put into air during Gruul’s Ground Slam (even they can still be stoned). These “holes” alone the wall are within the reach of all casters if they start running 10secs before Ground Slam. Therefore, they could significantly reduce damage taken of these players from Shatter.
For each raid, I personally bring 2 Flask of Pure Death, 20 mana potions, scrolls, buff-food and 2 sets of gears. One set for trash mobs and one for boss. My boss set is aiming at stats with from highest lowest Spell Hit (up to cap)->Spell Power->Spell Hast-> Spell Crit. My trash mobs set totally ignores hit ratings.

Why are you applying to us:
Actually, I have been on this realm since TBC released and saw many things happened (including the fall of Enigma, once equally good guild with Heresiarch). I would not refuse the fact that I have been a totally noob for most of my play time lol. It was not until recently I found that I was in love with raiding and the experience of working with other people to achieve certain objective. Upon the release of WotLK, I see this as one opportunity for me to catch up with many most experienced players in the realm. I like being able to play this game with many self-motivated players who are aiming progress and efficiency. Heresiarch has been on this server for at least 2 years, and remains the most progressive horde raiding guild on this server. It is self-evidenced that Heresiarch has the capacity and potential to make another milestone in the future expansions, and I would be happy to be a member of this family.

Link us your Armory:

They put patch 3.0.2 alive not long after I just grind most of my S2 welfare epics. At that time, I switched to Destruction from Affliction. You can see that most of my gears are still for affliction spec. As WotLK becomes alive soon, I feel reluctant neither to grind for new gears nor even to socket/enchant them. I also dump all my previous gears to leave bank spaces for stacks of Netherweave Cloth (hoping they will replace rune cloth once expansion comes alive). So my gears you see right now may serve nothing but a solid prove of my waste time on pvp battlegrounds :(.

Wow web stats reports:
Sorry, I don’t have one.

Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
Yes, I know some people in Heresiarch back on… like in SFK lol. Some people may not even remember me but I still have them on my friend list. Unholyfury, Teh, Sobeyut (from my holy pally Nariael).

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am 24 years old right now and graduated from college with a bachelor degree on Biology. I am currently working on a part time job while getting some graduate level courses to prepare me for my further studies. My schedule may most likely be changed each semester so I can’t guarantee to attend all the raids. It is because my part time job sometimes requires me to take night shifts. I love to social and make friends. Furthermore, I love to see the dead bosses kneel down on the ground and enjoy the moment celebrating victory with guildies. However, because of this uncertainty of my schedule, I think I would just apply for a social/casual position in the guild if it is still available. I won’t mind to be a bench-warmer for the raid either :P.

Just in case someone is still looking at this post. I changed my name from Eliteai to Ervin. The old name seems to be a little hard for people to pronounce, :)
