I freaking LOVE Kate Nash, but her music seems really hit or miss with me. Her composition maturity fluctuates a LOT and sometimes I find myself annoyed at what comes off as half-assed lyrics. Check out "Foundations" if you haven't heard it already though, I think it's her best song by far.

I'll go through your links when I Get home. Sadly I have no sound on my work 'puter.

If you haven't already, check out LCD Soundsystem's new album, "This Is Happening." It's worthy. Also, Pomplamoose is really fun to listen to.

Time for another pair of songs...

VAST - Touched. I wanted this for our Illidan kill video. This or 'Who can it be now?' by Men at Work. :P
This song was also used in the TV series "Angel" season 1 episode 2. I geeked out when I heard it in the show.
My other favorite song from him is "Flames", because I'm a sucker for beautiful cello melodies.

Cut Copy - Far Away. I must be a sucker for Australian electro-pop 80s-revival, because I love everything I've heard from them so far. Must be the slight accent.

Continuing the vamp theme, they played this song at the end of true blood the other week (well a version of it anyway):

I love NPR's 'First Listen' streaming feature.

Up right now is an upcoming album by Jesca Hoop, "Hunting my Dress". It's kind of a folk album with a good dash of story in the lyrics. I've been digging it and will probably pick up the album.

First song in a long time that I really like and didn't hear first in a commercial for something. Even 'Dog Days are Over' is showing up in everything all of a sudden. Video makes me miss NYC a bit and is overwrought, but at least there aren't any dancing carnies like in Dog Days.

One plus of having a car again is that I get to listen to the radio.

The best part about watching pro starcraft is the music videos in between games.
