Current Talent spec: Shadow
Explain your talent spec at 70: Haven't decided yet. Most likely disc/holy.
Willing to respec if needed? Yes.
Vent: Use it regularly, prefer it over TS.
Typical Weekly Playtime: 6-11pm weekdays (sometimes in afternoons), weekends are flexible.
Time Zone: EST
Previous Guilds: Fist of Fate, Mystic Heroes (Silvermoon) - I was invited to FoF on this server as a good friend of mine is an officer, but their raid times will never work for me.
Previous Raiding Experience: I've raided MC (complete), Onyxia (complete), and BWL (killed Vael) on my mage, rogue and druid.
Why are you applying to us?
Your raid times are perfect for me. I transferred to this server as Silvermoon is in PST. This caused my raid times to always run later than I'd want, or hold me back from joining groups that raided more often than 2 days a week. I've really enjoyed raiding pre-BC, and would like to experience the new content.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I've been playing MMO's since '96. Started with The Realm, then Asheron's Call, SWG, FFXI, and finally World of Warcraft when it was released.
I'm not 70 yet, but I know how to get there. I have 2 70's, 2 68's and a 64 on the alliance side on Silvermoon. Last Friday, I transferred to this server at lv37. I'm determined on getting this character to 70 quickly, although it'll probably take me a few weeks. I could wait and apply then, but I figured it'd be better to get to know my fellow guildmates a bit in the time between then and now.
Also, Pratt is my only character on this server. He is also my only horde character, and I'm burnt out on playing alliance for the past two years. He's not just an alt I'll play once in a while, he's my main now.

I don't believe we have an accurate, effective, or even remotely reasonable method for trialing non-level 70 applicants.
Additionally, we've had very poor experience with people who have Fist of Fate ties, in as much as their longevity as guild members. That's not to say they're not good people, but that I have no desire to gear up their next shadow priest, if you get me.
Have any thoughts on that, Pratt?

I've been in Fist of Fate for all of a week, so I think it would be unfair to condemn me based on the tag. I haven't done anything with the guild really, I only joined because one of their officers was a good friend from back on Silvermoon. A couple years ago, my fiance and I led a guild there, and Imahealer, who we knew as Franki, was one of our members.
Beyond one friend, I have no ties to the guild.
In regards to "gearing up a shadow priest," I am shadow right now because I'm levelling. I don't believe you'll find anyone who'll tell you its easier/faster to level while holy or discipline. As stated in my application, I am unsure what I want to do spec-wise at 70. I've been leaning towards holy/disc, but as I've seen some guilds asking specifically for shadow priests, I'd be willing to give that a shot as well.
I'm 26, mature, and I am far from a guild hopper.
I understand what you're saying about not being able to have "tryouts" for sub-70 folk. If you prefer, I can wait until I'm 70.

The shadow adjective was irrelevent, my apologies if it seemed otherwise. We have one shadow raiding with us, and we're looking to grow that to two, so the adjective, again, is irrelevent.
I have a bitter taste in my mouth due to a previous experience. Unfair, perhaps, but trust that it only colors my words, not my actions.

I know this one very perverse priest, for what it's worth. I'm familiar with leveling a priest, and of course, shadow all the way.
