Thank you for considering my application.

I am currently a restoration shaman on the drenden server 0/5/56. I have been the primary or secondary healer for my guild for 5 months. My unbuffed healing bonus is +1700, MP5 +200. My healing crits usually fall around +7500 and +8200. I have the alchemist stone and will soon have the redeemer's alchemist stone. My skills are all 375 for cooking, first aid, and fishing. I'm 375 on alchemist and herbalist. My weapons skills are almost all 350 but my primary weapon is a mace. Lastly, I use addons and macros and have had great success with each. My gear is 100% purple mostly obtained from pvp with well over 10,000 honorable kills.
Ventrilo and do you have a mic:
I have both.
Typical Weekly Playtime:
I'm on almost every day from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., CST I'm also on most of the day on weekends, or can be.
Time Zone:
Central Time
Previous Guilds:
Pacis Bellum
Previous Raiding Experience:
I realize this will be the controversial point in my application. I've only been playing WoW for 7 months so my raiding experience is limited. I have been one of two healers on Kara and have cleared 9/11 bosses. Ironically, I have obtained about 8 pieces for an enhancement shaman which I currently don't use. I'm in a small guild and we've only been organized once to visit Gruul's lair. We did not clear either boss. I have visited almost every 5-person instance, including some at heroic level with success. I'm keyed for most instances and I'm 2 quests away from being keyed to kara.
Why are you applying to us:
Candidly, I joined pacis bellum because of the guild leader, Raventh. He recently decided to leave due to some personal reasons. With Raventh gone, I'm interested in advancing my skills and talents with a reputable guild. I'm familiar with this guild's reputation and would like to join as a junior member, particularly as a restoration shaman. I would also like to contribute/volunteer for smaller tasks like making sure the raid teams have their buff foods, potions, and weapon oils.

Wow web stats reports:
My guild didn't use WWS unfortunately.
Do you know anyone in guild? If so please list your pals.
No, but if you want references I would be happy to provide them.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm 41, married, with two daughters living in Lawrence, KS. I'm an IT director working in Topeka,KS for a large retailer. I'm also a classical guitarist, which is why I named my character Segovia, after the famous Andres Segovia.

What do you mean "junior member"? Normally, we recruit for raiding positions. We have non-raiding ranks as well, but as the name implies, they do not get invited to raids.
What are you looking for? If what you want is a raiding position, your gear is very lacking. PvP gear will not cut it into the raids that we are running, and we aren't really running the raid types that you would need to gear up to where we are. If you want to raid, you are probably better off applying to one of the guilds that is running T4/T5 content more regularly than we are.
We do bring people in to "Friend" and "PvP" ranks, however, so that they can socialize with us without having the expectations of raiders imposed on them.

That which doesn't kill you gets to try again later.

Len,
Not a problem. I appreciate the candor.
I'm fairly committed to improving my character in this game. I would like to find a well rounded guild that tries to accomodate characters at different levels of the end-game. I also enjoy the social aspect of the guild.
I realize I can't keep up with the T5/T6 raid team's you've got currently and I will continue to try to improve my equipment and apply to your guild another time.
Thanks again for considering my application.
Hope to see you around.

Yes, the gap from Kara to T6 is pretty significant. Seems like you're fairly committed to your character though. If I could make a couple of recommendations:
- Run one more Thrallmar heroic to get the healing glyph
- Run a lot more heroics for badges. The gear you need to contribute in a T6 raid is obtainable through badges now. If you're looking to raid, you should spend more time farming badges than PvPing. Just because an item is purple doesn't mean it's the ideal piece of gear for you.
- Read up on shaman: http://elitistjerks....an_restoration/ And http://elitistjerks...._heal_like_pro/
- Read up on boss strats: When I first started 25-mans I was a bit overwhelmed, knowing what to expect will be a big help.
I don't think we're the right fit for you right now, but you never know what might happen in the future. Good luck!
