Trying to pick a music festival to go to this year, anyone been to Bonnaroo?
My 3 front-runners:
Bonnaroo: http://www.bonnaroo.com
Coachella: http://www.coachella.com
WMC: http://www.ultramusicfestival.com (A bunch of events, but Ultra is the big one)
Any suggestions for places to go in Tennessee would be appreciated too. I've never been to TN and I'm a bit worried I won't find anything fun to do. :)
The lineups are awesome for all three, but I've been to Coachella and WMC so was thinking about trying something different...

Did you go to coachella last year? I'm still kicking myself for missing RATM ;(
I lived in Nashville for close to 1.5 years. The only thing I can think to recommend is to eat as many barbecue pork sandwiches with baked beans as you can. I'm still losing the weight I put on from them but they just do not make them like that outside the South. Anything I order here in Oregon tastes like Manwich meat.
Didn't end up going to bonnaroo but they said on the radio that a lot of nastiness was going on.. So if you like dirty redneck nekidness hit it up.

Yup, Coachella last year, WMC the year before. It was an amazing time, the 105-degree weather during midday kinda sucked though... Lots of beer and lying on the grass under an umbrella ;D
What's the weather like in TN Mid-June?

All I can say is WOW at the lineup for Ultra. I have seen alot of those acts before, and if you like em that looks to be a sweet 2day lineup. Plus you are in Miami, how can you go wrong?
Tiesto - seen him 4 times, best show was in Vegas, just incredible.
TCM - seen em twice tore the roof off both times.
Rabbit in the moon, saw em this summer good show (usually very trippy / theatrical)
Carl cox - always solid.
Adam Freeland is the one act I would schedule to not miss, his global underground disc is probably my favorite album of the last 3 years.

Yup, South Beach is probably my favorite place to visit in the US. ;D
Saw Freeland at Coachella last year, his style of music is generally not my thing, but it was a fun set.
I looooove outdoor concerts; don't get too many of them in NYC because of the strict regulations... They assume people who listen to EDM are all pill-popping ravers :-
