Currently, I basically arcane. I bounce between Arcane and Fire. I have my t5 2 piece bonus so for the most part, Arcane is better but Fire can be fun and for a few boss fights fire can be reasonable
Typical Weekly Playtime:
Really when ever I want but usually more later at night and weekends. I work my own hours and can shift hours around as need be.
Time Zone:
Pacific
Previous Guilds:
Mostly Harmless on Drenden and Afterdeath in Vek'nilash
Previous Raiding Experience:
Well experienced in all of BC including Vasji in SSC but never Kael in TK. Then much of the old school stuff such as MC, ZG, AQ20 and BWL.
How can we improve:
I was looking over many of Heresiarch people in the armory. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems many people are little lower on hit rating. Hit rating can improve raid control more than many other things. For example, on a mage 12 hit rating approximately equals 18 spell damage and 22 crit rating. It is much easier to get 12 hit rating then 18 SP. This only matters if you are under your hit cap (for your spec) and of course there is exceptions.
Why are you applying to us:
I want to raid and Heresiarch is right where I was at on my old server. I don't want to jump ahead nor fall behind such as where Mostly Harmless is. I still enjoying Kara and other instances, but I enjoy progression work even more.
Anything else:
Ceilingcat is my life long best friend. I had quit playing the game right before the ZA patch and he transferred to this server. During my absence, I transferred over here mostly just to chat with him and a couple friends. Not long after, I started playing again. It is not that I would only raid if he was in the raid, but at the least would like to be in the same guild as him.

I should add. I am a JC and as far as I know have every JC gem pattern except the exalted meta from Consortium.

the exception being that most of our mages are arc and with a 10% hit rating bonus from talents to arcane spells the hit cap is much lower, wasting enchant and gem space with hit when really all you need is 6% if your rotations are full arc is a bad idea. although i rotate fireblast in(on occasion), all of my other spells in the rotation are arcane and since my arcane missile ticks are typicaly 700 higher than a non crit, i wouldnt mind missing the occasional fireblast being as am tick crits > a fireblast resisted. it all depends on how you like to play your mage, for an arc mage capping is achievable without any enchants or gems, but as a fire mage your priorities are alot different.

Correct, but I was not only talking about mages. For sure, it is a waste to use hit gems with an arc mage because it is really easy to make your hit cap just off gear.
