Discuss your talents.
I either go full feral using a common/popular spec that is pretty universal for both bear tankage and cat dps, or full resto taking what talents benefit in tree form only and remaining points into balance so that I can do a little dps if needed. (ie. leo fight) I enjoy feral tanking/dps in 10 man raids and below to include for farming/pvp, but although I may be a somewhat viable tank for 25 mans, I would most likelly come as a resto. (I have full epic sets for both - and not all pvp gear)
Ventrilo:
I have and use. I feel it's essential for raiding, great for 5 manning, and fun for chit chat / pvp groups.
Typical Weekly Playtime:
Generally nightly from 7pm - midnight server time, less Thursdays and Saturday evenings.
Time Zone:
EST
Previous Guilds:
Currently in Mostly Harmless. I like basically all of the people in this guild but they are very much pvp oriented and generally play much too late for me. (Note: If you guys decide to pick me up, I'd like at least 6-12 hours notice to make sure I chat with them, settle any favors/debts, etc as I'd like to leave them on good terms) Prior to that I was on the Vek'nilash server in Afterdeath. As I hit 70 and began collecting the gear needed to raid with them in SSC+ they did a huge merger and took on tons of new people. From that time they only took their best geared people to raids so many of us sat out week after week. I wasn't interested in any of the other guilds on Vek'nilash, so transferred to Drended to play with a friend.
Previous Raiding Experience:
Gruul's, Mags, Full Kara clear, 4/6 in ZA. I had previously played a different druid and hunter pre-BC and was raid leader for ZG and AQ20. I have raided quite a bit from every perspective (ie. tank/dps/healer) and I like to use wowikki and other sources to read up on fights / strategies.
How can we improve:
3 Notes;
1: Daksuo. Your feral build looks pretty solid if you only play in bear form. If you find yourself switching out to dps as a cat though I'd recommend moving the 2 points from nuturing instinct(healing bonus) and putting them into savage fury(cat dps boost). Just weigh how much time you spend healing vs. time in cat form. Also, I personally prefer to put the 2 points into brutal impact for the longer stun which benefits both cat and bear form. You can spare the points here from intensity on the resto side (if you are tanking, you should be able to spare the extra 10 rage). Again though, it looks like your spec is for going between bear form and off healing, which if that is the case, should be fine.
2: Krotar. Yours looks like a raiding resto build, but then you have 5 points in Nature's Grasp which screams pvp (unless you are in ZA). Putting points into starlight wrath for the faster casts makes a huge difference if you need to dps. Also, If you generally heal in tree form, I'd recommend removing the points from Tranquil Spirit (only benefit you are getting is 4% reduced mana if you cast tranquility) and consider putting a second point in fully removing threat when casting tranquility (can keep you alive) and the last point in insect swarm. Remember that you can get higher ranks of it from the trainer and it is a decent dot for a resto druid that needs to do a little damage.
3: The Guild App thead. Your first sticky has the mask for posting apps, but your other stickies mention wanting people to read them prior to posting the app. Might be a good idea to post in the first thread that people should read all the stickies since most people go from top to bottom.
Why are you applying to us:
I have been keeping an eye out for a raiding guild since discovering that Mostly Harmless is very pvp oriented. I ran heroic botanica with Pratt, Daloc, and Sairayn and thought they handled themselves very well. I also checked out your website and like what I see, it appears that our philosophy on raiding is basically identical, and your raiding hours are a great match for my schedule. I'm very interested in experiencing the rest of the game's content and think that Heresiarch may be a great group to work with in getting there.
Anything else:
I currently have essentially T4/equivelant gear sets for both feral tank/dps and resto. I have been able to tank and/or heal everything 10 man and below with no problems. Once I get into 25 man raiding though, I intend to focus any gear I get down one path and make that my "raiding spec", which will probably be resto. Here is my armory link if you'd like to take a look, if you care to see my other gear just send me a tell in game and or mail me and I can log out with another set on or get with you in game.

The bulk of catform DPS does not come from mangle DD, and none of it should come from the other two benefits to Savage Fury.
Brutal impact viewed as anything other then a farming/PVP bonus is grossly fixation on the wrong crucial moments.
While the raw amount healed is very negligible, and the regen benefit small, the ability of a raid to switch from X tanks Y healers to X-1 tanks to Y+1 healers (900 healing in tank gear means they don't hit for nothing) on a dime can turn a crucial moment ("OMG TANK IN DISTRESS") from success to failure. Brutal impact and a 1% damage boost from 7% RDPS do not.
However, you are the first applicant to give a satisfactory response, I am impressed.

I was able to chat with Mucknip today, and from what he said it sounds like you guys really don't have a need for another druid at this time whether resto or feral, so I'm going to go ahead and look elsewhere. If you guys happen to change your mind before I find another raiding guild, let me know. I will probably not be checking this thread anymore, but you can shoot an email to me in game and I'll be in touch.
Best of luck to you guys.
P.S. Feel free to add me to your friends list and bug me if you need a tank/heals/dps for any lvl.70 instance runs or heroics.
