Discuss your talents.
Currently spec'd 36/22/3 for PvP/Arena but willing to respec 2hand fury (dual wield when hit rating would support it). My tanking gear is nearly non-existent at the moment, but I am willing to work on a tanking set and fill in when needed. I would more then likely need to stay DPS while I worked on a tanking set, so that is the roll I see currently.

Ventrilo:
Usually in vent whenever I play wow, or at my computer.

Typical Weekly Playtime:
During the week I play most days, mid afternoon 2/3pm server until midnight or later (sometimes Much later). Nearly same times for Weekends, but have more flexibility for early hours. I am the Managing Director for a Research company, and in extremly Rare cases could be called away without much warning. Only occurred a few times in the last year, so shouldn't be an issue.

Time Zone:
EST

Previous Guilds:
I transferred a few weeks ago from Exodar where I leveled this character. My main focus there was PvP/Arena for this warrior and was unguilded. I have other characters still there that are in SnL, a casual kara/za guild. Before Exodar I played on Nordrassil and was in Remembrance. I left Nordrassil for exodar becuase of the server's physical location and time (was a pacific server located in the Seattle data center). Was looking for earlier raiding times (norm there was 10/11pm until 2/3am).

Previous Raiding Experience:
Kara / Gruul / SSC (Lurker, Hydross, Morogrim) / TK (Void Reaver) | Pre-BC I raided MC / BWL / ZG / AQ20 / AQ40 / Naxx (thru 4horsemen)

How can we improve:
While I couldn't find any guild videos on the site, I'm impressed by it. A lot of guilds have sad guild sites and don't take full advantage of the great community and information tool they are. I did take a look at some of your members talents, but without knowing them, or having talked to them, I wouldn't presume to judge or critic them. While there are some talents that are generally agreed upon as crap (imp rend for example) to each their own, so long as they get the job done and enjoy it. As a whole, from what I know, the guild and members look pretty great.

Why are you applying to us:
After being on the server for a few weeks and getting to see some of the raiding guilds, getting to know people through random conversations, and having talked with a few of your members about the guild. Heresiarch seems to be what I'm looking for. I raided hardcore pre-bc, and heavily on Nordrassil. I am currently looking for a competent, friendly guild that raids consistently, but isn't hardcore. Speaking with one of the officers about the raid schedule (mandatory and non), I think this would be ideal for me. I have been in both, progression at all costs guilds, and too casual to get anything done guilds. This seems like the right balance for progression and fun.

Anything else:
I have been playing WoW since Beta, pre-BC both my wife and I ran a hardcore raiding guild and progressed through the content into Naxx before the expansion came out. About a month before the expansion came out, many guilds split up, ours included. We both look a break from WoW to see what else was out there. After 3 months of looking, I couldn't find anything else with the polish and fluidity of WoW, so I returned. My wife also returned but didn't get back into it. I have played every class to 60+, raided and PvP'd with all of them pre-BC and done the same with several classes post-BC. I am looking to become part of a team again, which is what makes the game fun for me, having folks to chat with and enjoy it with you.

Thank you for taking the time to review my application.

who has imp rend? I'm betting vascon? he is pretty fail. Why does everyone want to go 2 hand fury? its a fairly small dps increase with a loss of blood frenzy which is a fairly sizeable raid dps increase.

I would actually only go 2hand fury because it is what my gear supports at the moment and what I had done previously in BC endgame. Back in the old days, I actually preferred the 31/5/15 build for offtank/dpsing. My current spec really isn't optimized for PvE, it's 100% arena/pvp. While it works for PvE, it's not ideal, so I'm more then willing to respec for raids. I'm always open to suggestions on specs and friendly debates over which is the best. I would probably like to move towards dual wield for PvE as I find its DPS better and more interesting from a animations standpoint. My hit rating will need some work before that is an option though. I do agree though, that the 4% bonus is nice, so I'm willing to spec whatever works best for the group.

I didn't actually see anyone with imp rend. Was just using that as an example talent, which is commonly considered a poor investment of talent points. I am aware that this server is located in the Seattle datacenter, it was a compromise we made. Having been stuck on Exodar for 3 months and dealing with, what has to be, one of the worst Horde battlegroups in the game. I decided I couldn't gamble with that aspect again. We did some posts, but got too many conflicting que time responses. Drenden is in the same battlegroup as Nordrassil and so we knew what to expect.

Cool, no rush. I'm working a Druid atm, Brita, so that'll keep entertained for awhile... so long as I keep throwing money at her :)

Thanks again for the replies btw.
